The rooms are lovely and so comfy. Great views from the balcony. The beach area is SO nice, plenty of chairs and tiki huts for everyone. Lots to do with volleyball, cornhole, kayaks etc. Had a massage by Marta(?) and it was great. Also the bed was super comfy and SO many pillows which was amazing.

I think the only thing stopping this from being a 5 star is the food and staff. Only one restaurant for the whole resort - I think if you added a food truck or cart so people can get something quick and less expensive it would really elevate the experience instead of eating the same limited menu. Also, the bar by the pool is SLOW. The bartenders are fine but really don’t give off the island vibes and don’t seem happy at their jobs. Everyone we ordered I felt like we were annoying them. They don’t acknowledge you for a long time either which is awkward. A simple “I’ll be right with you” would go along way.

Reefhouse Resort and Marina, formerly a Marriott property is a beautiful place. It provides a picturesque setting with excellent water views and stunning sunsets. The pool, pool bar and surroundings are immaculately maintained, and nicely appointed. Service at the pool bar was very good and the drinks were top notch. Special notice is needed for the flagship restaurant - Gus's - the meals there were delicious, the setting was equally as beautiful as the rest of the property with great water views. The staff is friendly and very helpful, but the chefs there are what make the place. The food is so much better than you would expect. Everything we had, over many meals, was delicious.

There were not many challenges at the resort, but two were worth mentioning. 1) Two elevators were out of order. One in the hotel proper and one in Gus's restaurant. But, one of those was repaired before we left, and they were diligently working on the other. 2) Gus's place was struggling to keep the AC working throughout. That said, the outdoor dining veranda had a nice breeze and at least half of the indoor area was nice and cool. Both these things seemed to be just the result of normal operations, and my takeaway was that they were meeting these issues straight on and kept a great attitude throughout.

This is a very comfortable, lovely small resort that is perfect for a family and a slightly shorter stay. I think a week would be too much - we were there for 5 days and it was perfect. The pool was amazing. The staff were outstanding. The grounds are really beautiful and there are things to do in different areas which is nice. The sunsets are incredible. My family had a wonderful, relaxing time. I really can't say enough about the incredible staff, and the price point is very reasonable for the room. There are some good restaurants within driving/delivery distance.

The beach is more for looking at than for swimming. There was some noise/smell from parties, but nothing out of control. There was security for the pool area during the day and it would have been great to have it at night, too - some folks were bringing glass bottles into the pool, etc. The restaurants are extremely expensive - we paid $100 for breakfast for a family of 4 - and the same food is served in each restaurant, so you kind of run out of options. A less expensive continental breakfast would be amazing. Their breakfast sandwich is $17!

Beautiful 2 bedroom suite and bay view. Staff that I did encounter was very friendly and accommodating.

Lack of staff by the pool to oversee pool guests in the evening each night. (4pm-8pm) Many unruly children who are unaccompanied by parents jumping and flipping in the pool almost landing on other guests inside of the pool. Lack of staff allowed someone to bring a huge blutooth speaker suitcase and plant it right next to the pool to blast in everyone’s ears. I don’t hate music but I felt like that was weird to allow. Pool rules say that it closes at dusk but guests were in the pool until 2am blasting music and drinking. I could hear them partying from my hotel room. It was as if all of the pool staff left at 4pm and no rules applied after that.

We arrived early and, although we couldn't check in, we were able to use all of the facilities including the pool and sunbeds. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The bedroom had a partial view of the sea/beach and was very comfortable. The pool area is accessible only by a special wristband, which leads down to a private beach area. Very pretty and we saw an amazing sunset.

Obviously going during the Winter months I have learned that it is very popular for travelling Americans and found it very pricey. The resort is also on its own, not much else apart from the resort facilities, but we knew that when we booked.

Lovely resort, family friendly, staff accommodating and always pleasant. Food was delicious, just wished they had more options, as the menu is the same at all restaurants basically. Clean rooms. Having snorkeling and fishing options right on property is a plus! We chartered a fishing excursion one day, and went snorkeling another. Very convenient, and everyone was very friendly!

Apartment was great - perfect for family - we all had space. Pool was great - but we love the beach - just idyllic. Love the wildlife too. Cocktails and sunset - who could want more! When we left my daughter left 2 items of clothing and Eduardo was so helpful. He helped get them sent on to our next destination - thank you so much. We love Key Largo and we love this resort and hope to be back!

Apartment was great - only very very minor downside was one bathroom can be tricky when getting ready to go out - bit of a queue!! :)

Great little beach on the bay. Staff was nice and rooms are comfortable. Nespresso machines in rooms an added bonus. Pool is also nice. Always able to get towels and a palapa.

The tiki bar ran out of several ingredients and were unable to make some cocktails from their menu at times. There are flags on the beach chairs but there were no staff coming around to take drink or food orders. It was easy though to walk up to the bar and order.

The staff and security were excellant! My dad needed a wheelchair and they actually had one to provide not only a regular one but one that would work on the sand and beach! Bonus.... they help wheel my dad and get him to and from the room. All with a smile and good humor :)

The beach area had to many seaweed or plants growing... would be nice if they could clean the water in the beach area if that is ecologically allowed.

The pool was excellent. The bar staff was excellent and close to the pool. The private beach a few steps away from the pool was perfect for my wife and two daughters to snorkel with tropical fish. It was absolutely incredible!

The $400 hold on my card that I found out about upon arrival. Would've liked to have been informed about that beforehand. However it was nice to just charge a very nice dinner at Gus's Grille to the room. So it worked out perfect.
