The pool was heated so the water was very nice even though it was a little fresh in the late afternoon, the jacuzzi was hot as should be, the bar at the pool is good, the beach area and it's sun beds, atmosphere of the hotel, nice spadeful room, bathroom and good shower, very clean, good breakfast. the pool is open 24hrs so it's we could enjoy the jacuzzi at night.

They were cutting the grass from our balcony 8:30 am! The lady in the reception was not in her best mood, felt like when I was at the DMV where you even get scared the way they talk to you! Also she was questioning my service dog. Restaurant menus a little poor if you don't like sea food and if you have food allergies or if you are vegan, very poor menu for vegans. my vegan friend had a hard time and she is not even very fussy. The parking was very expensive 20$ per night for self parking is a rip off!

Setting and surroundings

Should put dehumidifiers in hotel so air conditioning could be set higher. Way to cold in hotel in the lobby and bar. Kayaks should be included in the resort fee like all the other resorts. $20 self parking seems excessive for key largo it’s not NYC

we loved the pool and beach. It was very nice to lay on hammocks on beach.

pool bar staff was just ok. There was a lot of hanging around with other resort staff while people were waiting for drinks and the drinks were not great.

location, facilities, activities

cost for food, restaurants for dinner were not good and we’re way overpriced for the taste and quality of the food. We had to pay 5 star price for 2 star food. the rest of the tunes we are out. Costs for the “extra curricular” water sports, like paddle boarding was outlandish.

This was by far the best vacation of my life and I travel very frequently for work . The location is amazing the resort beautiful the staff wonderful and my view was breathtaking. This was my first time to the Florida keys and to be honest I had no idea how beautiful this location was. I can’t wait to come back next year . I always use booking and I enjoy the ease of it however this was the first time I had issues with the final pricing. At check out I was charged additional charges from resort like parking and extra room rate . This has never happened. Even though I had my invoice and booking spelled out what I had payed for . Maybe this needs to be fixed through the app . Better communication with resort on what is covered with the price and fees so there will be no surprises. I loved everything. The location the room was very spacious and clean . The decor was very classy. The grounds were beautiful the staff were very friendly and inviting. The kids club convenient. The live music was a plus and we loved the pool and hot tub being open 24 hours

The only I didn’t like was the surprise charges at checkout . Also the extra charge was increased rate for the weekend that had already been quoted different in my invoice .

The restaurant service and food at Sol was the only thing that let it down. the breakfast buffet was wonderful and everything else about the resort was exceptional.

Enjoyed our stay at Playa Largo Resort. The beach was nice, large pool and plenty of seating. We ate at the Sand Bar and food was good. Staff was friendly too. We had a double queen room with just a window view and room was clean and larger than expected so it was a good size for my husband and I and our 17 year old for 3 nights. It's also close to us (about an hour and 20 minute drive) so it's a nice little getaway for a few days without paying for airfare.

I think what could be better is less sand build up in the pool water and hot tub. I think it should be cleaned more regularly and swiped with a net more. It wasn't horrible, but the sand was a bit much. I also think that the Sand Bar and outdoor service areas should be accommodating their employees with a fans or mist fans to keep them cool during the hot season. The employees were super nice but were dying from heat and one of the servers experienced heat exhaustion while we were there. Please provide your hard working employees with ways to keep themselves cool.

I was warmly welcomed by Derick at the front desk and he made me and my family smile and felt that we definitely chose the right resort. He help me with checking in my room and made sure we were happy and gave me a partial ocean front view. All at the resort were great but there were a few outstanding employees who went above and beyond with customer service. Firstly Javier at the bellman department. Robert pool man staff was exceptional and was so hard working but very personable with my questions. Judith at the breakfast is a superb staff member she made me feel at home. The pool staff Robin, CJ and one young man who I don't remember his name but he has long braids at pool side made me feel safe. When I ate and the wildlife began to try to eat our lunch he got rid of them so we could eat in peace. I had a small problem and spoke to the Director of the front desk and she was genuinely concerned and took my feelings seriously which made me and my family feel that she really wants customers to enjoy our time at your resort. My family rates this resort 9/10 and we travel all around the world. We will definitely be back next year because this was our first experience in the Keys and this resort set the bar high compared to any other resorts in the keys! See you and your staff next year!

The only thing I can really say I was disappointed in was the pool side music. The resort is island theme but no island music during the day. The music was like sad R&B which brought my mood down. Also they didn't have daily activities for the children which would make this resort 10/10 for families.

Very beautifully designed. Extremely clean and staff is extremely friendly who provided extraordinary service. The housekeeping team to the front desk and in between fantastic!! The waiting staff at La Marea so sweet and professional. My massage therapist Rocky was phenomenal and very sweet! We will recommend this lovely resort to everyone. The resort is close to everything excellent location!

The food room service menu should be expanded more. La Marea needs some more gourmet meals like their delicious ribeye and mushroom risotto.

The resort was very high end. The staff were all very accommodating. A special thank you to Aya and Savannah for going above and beyond to help celebrate my birthday with cookies, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. A big shout out to the entire breakfast staff as well. Loved the Eventide festivities too. The entire experience was awesome and we will e back.

The cleanliness around the pool area was severely lacking. Empty cups in and around the pool and cut limes lying around was not expected at a resort of this level.
