We stayed here for a week for our babymoon and had an absolutely wonderful time! We travel often and have high expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the previous reviews. The resort itself is impeccable, with great design and all the comforts/amenities you could want/need. We were always able to find a beach chair and often had our pick of whether we wanted to be in the action or more secluded/private. The resort is very family-friendly but I never felt like things were out of control or over populated. We did the tiki sunset boat cruise one night and it was a highlight for sure! The location is great and we were able to access neighboring restaurants and locations very easily.

While beautiful, the resort definitely has high price points. Our meals at Calusa and Dry Docks were very good, but you pay a high price for them. Breakfast for 2 people at $75 was steep for us, but it forced us to go out and explore Key Largo and we found tons of great restaurants at more reasonable price points. The only 'lackluster' experience we had was the spa. The website is a bit deceiving and with how wonderful the rest of the resort was, I expected more of a true spa experience. The 'spa' is a small hair/nail salon that has 2 rooms where you can receive a spa service such as a facial/massage. While the masseuse's themselves were great, I expected a bit more from a 4 star resort and if we went back, I would definitely skip the $500 spa day and stay on the beach instead.

Everything but the noise.

The noise is horrible. You can practically hear everyone around you and their conversations. very annoying at 5:30 a.m. These walls are thin.

The Hammock rooms with partial water views are wonderful. Very tranquil and relaxing. The property is very clean and the staff are friendly.

The restaurants and food service could be improved. It was our anniversary the first night and dinner was a disaster. I ordered mussels and they were not fresh. My husband's short ribs made him sick the whole night. The complementary champagne is not really a satisfying offer. It was too sweet and when made into a mimosa, it was undrinkable. We had to leave the property for the rest of our meals, which wasn't the plan. Breakfast was also very poor in quality and taste compared to the price point of the menu. I ordered avocado toast and the bread was untoasted and gummy. The avocado was more sour cream than avocado. The food at this resort is not up to par with the level of the property. That was very disappointing.

Nice decor, good food, comfortable setup at beach and pool. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, nice view, and private. Good drinks as well.

Too expensive. Resort fee added on top of high room cost. Resort fee info paper indicates the "value" which includes basic amenities like coffee. Really going to tell people that coffee is a reason to charge resort fees on top of a $800+ per night room charge??? On top of high cost and resort fee, no complimentary water in room either. Management can do better than this. Staff is awesome and should not be faulted.

The resort has two beaches, One is larger with more activities and a pier,(with available “toys”, )the other more quiet which is where we stayed as we like privacy. The view from our room was beach front, in front of “hammock beach”,however because we were on the bottom floor it was through these beautiful trees and shady so it offered a lot of atmosphere. You could actually walk to the hammock or to the waters edge in 20 seconds. The basic lanai was very nice to have . Birds chirping through these trees. The room smelled good which is really important to me, decor was basic but very updated and cute, it was comfortable. Great water pressure in shower. Bed and pillows comfortable which is very important to us. Noise travels a lot but we lucked out and it was quiet for us. Many families with kids so no late noise. Perfect place to relax in a very casual atmosphere, you definitely do not need to dress here! Lovely common library, game, room , great two story lobby. We were here on taco tuesday .... cocktails were nice, tacos so so( but we are food snobs). For what is available on the keys this is definitely a more upscale resorts than most! With just some attention to details this could Be turned into a more upscale resort.

There was nothing to Dislike.

beautiful hotel , stylishly decorated , peaceful and calm atmosphere. We particularly loved the family beach where the children enjoyed paddling and kayaking in the safe and shallow waters. The water mattresses were a great addition and allowed the children to play together . The breakfast at Calusa is very good. We want to give a special mention to Milka who went above and beyond for our family when our son had a small fall in the restaurant. She was very caring and kind plus the surprise gift in our room for our son was a very generous touch. Thank you !

Nothing however perhaps the menu in Dry Rocks could be a little more expansive and varied (lunch and dinner)

The room and location was very good. We had a Ocean view room and it was excellent. A very well maintained hotel with very nice interiors. The staff were polite and friendly. Food was really good but the location allows you to go outside and have food from other places as well.

We had breakfast there for couple of days that we were there but both days it was a very slow process. One time we had to wait for about 50 minutes at the table to get our breakfast. The other day it was bout 40 minutes for even a 'take-out'. THey should be able to better than that.

Beautiful resort… Very clean and modern. The staff was friendly.

I wish that they had more activities geared toward teens such as a game room. There was one pool table but it was always occupied. Fishing poles were available but only in the early morning. it would have been nice for that to be available all day. I chose the booking that included breakfast. h However, this was actually a $50 credit towards breakfast. For 3 people breakfast was almost $100. Pretty pricey for breakfast.

We had been looking to visit for quite a while as it seemed like a beautiful spot. And it actually is one of the most amazing spots in the keys' combining nature into the hotel. Room was modern and very nice.

Totally overpriced. At $1000 plus per night you expect for every little detail to be taken care off. The lady at the reception was not very friendly. The white wine at the restaurant was not cold ( we got credit for it). The bar tender was great but limited selection ( no high end tonic water).. just those small details that you would expect for the level of this hotel.

This property is GORGEOUS! It absolutely gives Luxury — they even have a signature fragrance which I just found fantastic. I loved the private hammock beach and the pool was really nice as well. And the bedding was super comfortable.

Actually I have no complaints. It was a bit pricey, even given the elevated amenities
