Breakfast was pretty skimpy but good to have juice in the morning. The facility is located close to the Everglades and Key Largo. Tucked behind a gas station, with a very small sign made it hard to see from the road. But the property was pretty with a nice pool and lovely outside tables and chairs. Pleasant and helpful staff. Housekeeping cleaned the room during our 2 night stay which I didn’t expect, since that rarely happens any more.Restaurants nearby, McDonalds next door. They have parking spots assigned to each room which we liked because they eliminated the parking lot lottery if you left for a while.

The room and bathroom appeared very clean and neat. The only problem was when we spilled water on the tile floor and cleaned it up. The floor was filthy. Glad I didn’t go barefoot.

Typical US-style motel, close to the Everglades and the Florida keys. Staff at the reception was extremely nice and helpful. We could park our car directly in front of our room, good restaurants and all kinds of fastfood chains are very easy to reach by car. A large Walmart is also very close to the motel. For us, it was an excellent and affordable alternative to an expensive accomodation directly o the keys. Key Largo is half an hour away by car, from where you can do all kinds of tours they offer in the keys.The breakfast was absolutely fine for us. The pool is small but clean. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Not really modern furniture and amenities, but for us that was not a problem.

We checked in at around 9 pm after a long flight from the UK, around 30 minutes drive from Miami Airport. We used this hotel as a quick stop off before heading off around Florida on a road trip the next day, so we just needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours as we knew we'd be up early the next day due to the time difference. Check-in was short and sweet, and the room was as expected of a typical US motel style, 70's kind of vibe to the furniture with 2 huge beds and an AC machine bolted to the wall. It was fairly basic, but large and clean and you can park your car right outside. The area was quiet as it was set back from the main road and there was a McDonalds, Gas station and Dennys literally yards away. Overall it was great value and a nice clean place for us to get a few hours sleep before heading off on our Florida road trip. Breakfast was included which was OK, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, waffles etc.. We did see a pool there but as we checked out at 6 am we didn't use it.

A small buffet type breakfast was included (Can get crowded and wait for others to finished before getting food). It was a breakfast that was on pare for the price of the room. Overall I would recommend staying for people traveling. This motel does have security cameras. Bed felt comfortable.

Room had 3 towels for 4 people, 1 bar of soap. Room was comparable to a Motel 6 (we have ruled out ever staying at a Motel 6 due to bad experiences).

Very clean, older motel, with rooms clearly remodeled. Good breakfast. Laundry room available $6 per load washer/dryer and another $3-4 for detergent.

To get to the motel must be on Rte 1 NORTH, or turn left off Rte 1 south at literally the last left turn available. IF you are going south in Rte 1 and miss the turn, you must make an immediate U-turn, or you will have to drive 36 miles--almost to Key Largo and back. This happened to us. GPS said to turn left onto Rte 1 north at a VERY busy time without a light. Too hard, so decided to turn right and then turn around at the first possible place WHICH WAS 18 MILES AWAY. Recommend approach on Rte 1 going south, watching carefully for a left turn at Speedway or Dennys. Do not go past McDonald's.

The office staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in early, since they had a room available. They also pointed out restaurants (some with discounts for staying at this property) and attractions in the area. The property is conveniently located close to two National Parks, although the entrance to the property is behind a gas station, which was a little confusing at first. The breakfast was better than expected, with waffles, eggs, meats, cereal, etc.

The property is an older motel, but has been refurbished and was generally as expected for the price. The room uses the older-style air conditioning unit under the window, which cycles on and off as needed; that tends to wake me up.

First, the rooms were nicely updated and clean. However, when we arrived, the staff informed us that the hot water system in the building we were staying in had broken the previous day. They offered to send us next door to their sister hotel, or to discount our room 25% if we chose to stay. They had also made another room available for hot showers for those guests affected and said they would be cleaning the shower after each use. Bottom line: the staff and management offered reasonable options for an unfortunate situation beyond their control and genuinely wanted to accommodate the guests affected. Nice to see such a service-minded culture at the budget level of the hospitality industry.

Breakfast could be better with more hot food/fresh fruit options.

The people in the reception are super kind. The pool is heated, and it is open lot of hours. The breakfast is good, no superb but more than enough. Each room has its own parking place with the number of the room just in front of the door, although the two nights that we spent there another car parked there... Not a big deal, we parked in its place :-). Several places to have a quick meal (McDonald´s, Wendy´s…) very close. In general, a very good hotel, no close to Miami because of the traffic but very close to the keys and to the Everglades. Totally recommended!!!

Unfortunately we could not get the room in the hotel where we originally booked due to some unexpected technical problem in the room but they offered me another room in the other hotel (Quality Inn Florida City - Gateway to the Keys) next to this one. So all my evaluation is meant for the other hotel (important to note: the two hotels are under the same management). Sunny, the manager is willing to help and really knows how to handle customers. In Quality Inn Florida City - Gateway to the Keys the staff was very caring, also at the reception and at the breakfast. Breakfast was quite good, they also had waffle makers, so we could have fresh waffles.
