Grand Bay SF is my favorite staycation hotel I come hear often just to get away relax, binge watch my shows peace and quiet I feel safe coming to this hotel alone Friendly staff Bar always has a game on good drinks good food great service! Hotel is on the water nice to lay out by the pool got for a walk on a nice day At night sit by the fire pit talk have drinks The rooms/ bathrooms are very clean Room with view of the water are my favorite!

No vending machines ( for sodas, juice, water) No room service for when I’m feeling lazy and don’t feel like going downstairs

Beds are really comfortable. Rooms are generous and clean and nicely appointed. Elevators are quick, we never had to wait. Staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Room rates are reasonable but not after they add on a $20. a day resort fee and $30. a night parking. Small cafe/market in lobby was only open until 1pm.

All of the staff that we interacted with were wonderful and helpful. The older lady at the check-in counter that we dealt with was very nice and although she was a bit flustered from something with the group ahead of us, she did everything she could to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We also enjoyed the restaurant and the server we had was really nice and quick to answer questions and provided great recommendations to make our experience more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed having the comfy bed and shower after a few days of camping.

The location is a bit further out if you're hoping to do some sightseeing around San Francisco and there isn't much for shops in the immediate vicinity. Great though if you are looking for a quieter location and don't mind commuting a bit.

Clean and comfortable and a nice view of water. Free water in fridge. The coffee shop was a big plus. The two ladies on different days were excellent.

No USB outlets in room. There are usually some in lost and found but reception said they had none. Told me to go to Apple Store. Only one 40 watt desk lamp in room. Very dim. No information in room like pool hours or what is avail in restaurant or if they have room service. I still don’t know. Would be nice if they asked how was your stay when checking out. I would have told them a couple things need attention, but they rushed me out.

The surrounding, it is right next to the lagoon and we had the lagoon view room. It is so nice to look out of the window. There is a walking path around the lagoon, very pleasant walk in the morning. The hotel is situated in the business area, so very quiet.

Extra cost: parking, $30 a day and the amenity tax, $20 a day.

We had a pleasant stay, comfortable rooms and environment. The hotel restaurant was excellent!! The food and staff were great! We literally had dinner at the hotel restaurant all 3 nights that we stayed there. It was nice after longs days to be able to get a good meal without having to go out to another place.

I don't appreciate the $40 to park charge. There is a large parking facility with few cars ever in it. its not like there is any street parking so you have no choice but to pay to park.

The room was great and the bed was comfortable but dated. The windows were filthy which was sad because it has a decent view of the surrounding area and lake

When we arrived to check-in we temporarily parked in the roundabout and a man claiming to be security told my partner he couldn’t park there even whilst checking in. We were not double parked or blocking any exits or entrances and this man was extremely rude! This man was not identifiable as security and was driving a personal vehicle, a ford mustang. Later we were told from an actual security gaurd, Justin, the man was in engineering - not security - and we’re just a little bit confused as to why he felt the need to get involved with our stay at all and why he lied about his job title. My partner suffers from extreme PTSD and is easily set off and this situation turned very ugly for everyone in an instant.

Everything was great once I got my “final room”.

Just a slight snafu at the front desk when checking in. First gave me a room # that my key didn’t work for, called down to the front desk and the person said no that is not your room number, then came up to give me a room key for my room but it was so amazingly hot in that room I had to ask to be changed to the other side of the building. They were very accommodating.
