Modern, great facilities, lovely staff and a hotel car which drive you for free for 3 miles. the car was almost always available which was a lovely plus!

the room smelt a bit damp and went from being too cold to too hot. the gym was also a bit warm

Located in a prime location in Sunset Blvd, 1 Hotel is at the centre of all the hip venues that you would think belong to Hollywood royalty! Within a 500m radius I have spotted specialty gyms, cafes with long lines of people waiting to get their coffees in the morning, and of course just opposite on the hills I imagine famous celebrities looking down on us from their luxurious perches.

The price is a little prohibitive. Recommended for special occasions or the last night of a long vacation in LA.

it was disappointing having to eat dinner at the lounge , I couldn’t believe there wasn’t a desk at the guest room… where is one supposed to work ???

This property has a vibe, as soon as you walk in you can see that sustainability is at the forefront of their design. The rooms have lovely features & the dining experience was awesome. We made use of the free electric taxi that takes you within 3 miles of the hotel. It really made the whole stay enjoyable as we did find LA to be so sprawling you do really need to have a hire car or take a taxi everywhere. The health centre was awesome. Loved the pelotons in the gym & literally had the best massage I have ever had in my life.

Not the hotels fault but it was really expensive, from the Aussie dollar to US it is hefty but it really at times didn't feel value for money.

Our whole experience from arrival to check out was seamless. Matt on front office checked us in and gave us a room upgrade as we were on our honeymoon trip so this made it really special! The finish of the hotel was perfect, I loved the wood and natural tones. Our room had the most gorgeous view of downtown and the bed was so comfy. The smell of the hotel was incredible - if we had any money left we would have definitely bought the hotels Kindling candle it was incredible! The location was perfect too so close to all the hot spots. We would love to stay again in the future!

great location. great rooftop bar attracting a young, dressy crowd in expensive cars. great valet service. free, fresh fruit and chilled water at lobby every morning. furniture, decor and room fragrance very hip and luxe. gym was compact but well-stocked (great for up to a week of maintenance workouts). pool view and lounges fantastic. the beds are super soft and you get four pillows per bed. the decor in the rooms is hip and chic. Nespresso machine with capsules in every room. be prepared for all the well-dressed guests filming themselves in the lobby for their Insta/TikTok page.

very minor feedback - lighting in room is quite dim. good for the romance vibes, but not amazing if you need some lighting for work/packing/anything requiring attention to detail.

It’s a really well-designed hotel. Very nice details in the general areas. Loved the bird sounds in the morning in the lobby and breakfast area.

We paid for a room with a view of the city. But that view was kind of blocked by the “dreamcatcher nets”. The East tower has an uninterrupted view but most of the West tower is blocked. That was quite disappointing. Then again there was a lot of smog in LA while we were then so the views weren’t that impressive either. The gym was also very basic.

Very tasty - I liked the omelet and had it customized also the coconut yogurt and fruit in particular - had the chickpea burger every day because I liked it so much - props to the chef for creating a wonderful healthy burger

The prices - very expensive - had to order in from Doordash when I would have loved to have eaten at your restaurants
