Staff was wonderful, the fact they provided a shuttle service was excellent!! Breakfast was great, Pool was awesome and the views were extravagant!! Our room was nice and clean, very spacious! I would definitely be coming back here and recommend everyone to stay here!

We came here for a getaway from the city and absolutely fell in love with it! We booked the king suite and got THE best view you could imagine. Very spacious room and romantic, we loved the balcony and the ample his and hers bathroom and bathtub too. the breakfast was great every morning, and the staff was very friendly!

the only complaint I have is that there was a stain on the couch that looked like blood or wine (?), we let them know but they still didn’t get round to cleaning it so we didn’t sit there for the time we stayed but it wasn’t a huge issue as we were out most of the time.

The junior suite was pleasantly sized with a king bed and fold-out couch that accommodated my four person family comfortably. The ocean view was a work of art. It boasted views of the marina and its beautiful boats and hillsides with lovely residential architecture.

Actually everything was pretty nice. Just keep in mind that it’s located on a hill which puts you about about 3 or 4 blocks away from the main tourist area with all the restaurants. It makes for a nice little cardio walk when you’re going back up hill, but they do offer a hotel shuttle that will pick you back up (as well as drop you off) if you call them so it works out for everyone.

I was very impressed with the shuttle service available to and from town on a moments notice. I loved the fact that the hotel was aware that travelers arriving before check in time would appreciate being able to store their luggage; the same accommodation was made at check-out, with our luggage being delivered to the ferry dockside just before sailing. The building was historically significant but tastefully remodelled. The views from all sides were magnificent. The private balcony ran the length of the suite, overlooking the bay. Our room was clean, spacious and well-appointed.

Hot water - it took a very long time to get lukewarm water for a shower.

Staff was super nice! Loved the easy transportation from ferry to hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Views were amazing. Location was great! Super calm and quiet.

Considering the price of the stay and how gorgeous the place is the breakfast really doesn’t reflect on that. It was mediocre at best. I would bring it up a notch. Also the rooftop is amazing but the set up looks like an abandoned cafeteria. Kinda sad. Could be cozier and more of a hang out spot. Perhaps even serve coffee up there in the morning. Also there needs to be more access to drinkable water. I would recommend having a water fountain so people can fill up their own bottles on each floor. We got dehydrated. I’d try to funk it up a bit, maybe do some events on the roof, live music, drinks etc. Felt a bit abandoned and as nice and calm as that is I think it could attract a different atmosphere if it got a bit more life in it. Overall I’m very happy and will be back. Thank you!

Complimentary pickup/drop off from ferry and to town. I like the fact that it isn’t too far from town. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations and things to do on the island. It was our 32 year anniversary and we were not disappointed at all. We had a beautiful clean room, the views are gorgeous from our room, the pool, and the restaurant. They had everything we needed to be comfortable in our room. We definitely want to come back again!

The views were absolutely incredible. The pool was amazing and the heated pool was a nice feature. The breakfast was great especially for one that is included.

For the price of the room the standards weren’t really up to par. Quite a few things the room were poorly put together and you could tell. Also no room service was quite a drag as well, having to go all the way to the front for some drinks wasn’t exactly ideal. It was quite the process as well to figure out to order a beverage as well.

The property on its own is so beautiful, the views, the vibe , the decor! But what makes Zane Grey stand out the absolute most, is the hospitality and the most beautiful people ever. I have never received such great service, it felt like home and we were only there for a day. Daniel was exceptional. There was not one time I didn’t see him hustling while having a smile on him and still being so kind hearted. Cheri was amazing also and kept making my baby laugh ! I loved them both the most.

Jaw Dropping 360 degree views, Spacious suites, transportation in and out of town by amazing staff, and a delicious breakfast every morning!

Not all suite views are created equal. I booked an oceanfront king suite, but it was on the first level, so you have to tiptoe over the large balcony wall to see anything. Even then, the view is blocked by a large tree, so there still was not much to see. Your neighbors definitely get a view of you though! lol
