Queensberry House B&B

Enjoyed a four night stay recently at Queensberry House. Wonderful welcome from our hosts, with lots of helpful local info provided. Breakfasts were excellent, all freshly prepared with a great range of options covering all types of diet. Good en-suite facilities with excellent shower. Easy on street parking immediately outside the property. Enjoyed having fresh milk provided (rather than UHT) each day for the tea making. Moffat has a good range of eateries and local shops, which are all within a few minutes walk.

Not much! Only space for a single comfy chair in the room, but there was a lovely guest lounge available.

Queensberry House is a lovely, quiet B&B on a peaceful street less than 5 mins walk from Moffat centre. My bed was superbly comfortable, the shower was hot, and my breakfasts delicious. Caroline and Miles are welcoming, helpful and informative hosts. Everything was super clean and well presented. I very much enjoyed my stay. Excellent is not enough to describe our visit, it totally exceeded our expectations, the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent meals provided, they went above and beyond to meet our dietary requirements, Their friendliness and attention to detail was overwhelming, i cannot recommend this B&B enough, it is outstanding

Mike's and Caroline were very welcoming , couldn't do enough for us. The quest house was very quiet and a we had a relaxing break. The breakfast choice was really good and the quality of the food was superb. The quest house is also situated in walking distance from the main part of the village. Moffat itself is a lovely place lots of walks in the area and on your doorstep

Clean and very comfortable. Bed was great, with lovely thick quilt and pillows. The breakfasts were outstanding with a great selection and perfectly cooked eggs every time. The chocolates (including Easter creme eggs) were a lovely extra touch too.

My stay at Queensberry House was extremely enjoyable. The property is well located for enjoying Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway and the room was extremely comfortable and well equipped for anything I needed. Caroline and Miles were great hosts and made me feel very welcome – definitely I’d book again

I can't find anything about Queensberry House I didn't like. Excellent place to stay.

Very beautiful property, well thought out room and the facilities were to a high standard and very clean. Caroline and Miles were incredibly helpful, drying our wet gear after days out and advising us about the area.

Have no faults at all and will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

The hosts were most welcoming and made the stay even better. Breakfast was fresh and well cooked. Room was comfy and I would recommend this B and B if staying in the area.

To stay longer

The B&B is located in an excellent location with on street parking right outside. It is very quiet, but only 5 minutes from Moffat High street. The room was spacious, very clean and included tea/coffee making facilities (with fresh milk). There is a guest lounge as well as the breakfast room. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was very tasty. I would 100% recommend this B&B.
