Location was right off a main road, easy to find. There was an excellent restaurant across the street. The facility was clean, quiet. Room was spacious.
Hotel had a minimalist or spare ambiance - lacking in charm. Didn’t expect this in rural Spain. Hallways were dark - lights weren’t working. Should’ve had motion sensors. Eventually I got help. Breakfast wasn’t great - no eggs, lots of carbs.

The housekeepers were more friendly and welcoming than the front staff (expect for one lady at the the checkout time). Well done ladies!
The room - the shower was refurbished, great! But I am sorry the room had the weird smell - like old furniture or something similar, I think it was because of the old build in wardrobe. The check in - I totally understand that not everyone can speak English and it’s fine, but a simple smile and some human effort could make guests feel welcome. Did I feel welcome? Not really… Breakfast - really basic - a few buns of bread, cheapest ham and cheese, a few options of jam, 2 types of cereals, fruit - just bananas, coffee - really poor quality. I was expecting a bit more for such a price. Swimming pool - I think the hotel keeps the metal bars around it for some health and safety reasons, but it doesn’t look inviting at all…
