Not only is ATL busy, with more than 2,500 daily takeoffs and landings (1,000+ by Delta alone) utilizing five runways, but it’s also the headquarters for Delta Air Lines, the top carrier in the U.S. in terms of revenue and profitability.
The airport has an amazing 63,000 jobs on-site including thousands of flight attendants and pilots who are based here. The economic impact is estimated at $66 billion annually and growing.
