Golden Tulip Krakow City Center

Very nice breakfast options. Desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was walkable to Old Town and near public transportation. Convenience store nearby was a plus.

No dresser or drawers-we used the nightstands for most of our clothes. No light in the closet. Room safe on the floor of the closet was hard to get at, especially with no lighting in the closet. Have to use smartphone flashlight and sit on the floor to access. The desk was wobbly. Restaurant only open for breakfast buffet; not open for lunch or dinner.

We could do an earlier check-in. Convenient location (10-15 minutes from Central Station and Old Town). Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Great variety for breakfast and a big plus is the fact that the tables are in a separate space, so it's not crowdy and enough space for everyone. The staff from breakfast area is very efficient and very careful to refill and clean/sanitize.

The bathroom size isn't too generous, but I don't think they could do too much for fixing this considering that it's an old building. One towel was tattered and the rest of them quite outdated. Some of the electric sockets and lamps didn't work.

The hotel is an easy ten minute walk from the main historic city centre. The hotel is spotless, the staff all speak very good English, without exception they are friendly, professional, efficient and very helpful. Nothing seems to be to much trouble. The breakfast is superb, I can't think of anything that wasn't available for breakfast. Our room was large and, although it was at the front of the building was very quiet. Highly recommended, would definitely stay at the Golden Tulip again

We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening, the service was excellent, the food was good but the menu was very limited.

This was our second time at this hotel as we loved our first stay two years ago. We checked-in later in the evening and the process was simple and easy. We were shown to our room by the guy at the front desk, which was nice. The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable with clean, soft sheets. We asked for extra pillows during the visit and were given them quickly by the front desk. Breakfast had lots of variety, but not like our prior visit.

The extra pillows we asked for smelled like sewage--which was gross. Breakfast was just okay. They didn't service the room and claimed we had the do not disturb sign on the door passed a certain time. Yes, we had the sign on the room when we went to breakfast and then made a point to remove it because we wanted the room serviced. We called the front desk and let them know we at least needed new towels and were given the run around for it. This is the last time we're staying here as we were disappointed by the service.

This hotel is best value for the money. it's super close to the center. Renovated, with new furniture. clean and quiet. the staff is super friendly! The breakfast is adorable in spectacular terrace- fully renovated restaurant with super tasty European food. Breakfast has a variety of dishes, including fresh fruits, and hot dishes. The location is accessible for walk to main raiway station or taxi to the airport for reasonable money. And it's just few steps from the city center.

The hotel lives up to its description. The best part is the location, very close to the old town center. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. The room matched the photos and description. Overall, everything was great.

In my personal opinion, the only downside was the size of the room. It would have been great if it was a bit larger.

Close to the square walking distance to everywhere really nice big room and big bathroom. Restaurant was closed for dinners and drinks and we didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that. Friendly staff. Really clean brilliant hotel and would definitely stay again

No English channels on tv and cleaners didn’t clean room even when sign put on the door to say please clean room

Location is so close to city center. Hotel and room were clean and receptionist was helpful.

The room was smaller than it appears in the photos. There was no mini fridge. Pillows were small and uncomfortable.The breakfast could have been more varied compared to a 4 star hotel.

Breakfast was amazing! Wide selection, everything was tasty and champagne to breakfast on Sunday was nice surprise. Room was also great, comfortable and quiet.

We would really like to have fridge in the room, that was the main disadvantage of this hotel comparing to other ones. Also vanity set and all the mini cosmetics was given us once per stay, not every day.
