Hotel Lopez Campeche

The hotel is large with many floors and the rooms mainly have their windows looking out onto the walkways between the rooms. We were lucky! If you don't want people looking into your room (or having to keep the curtains closed) ask for a room at the front, overlooking the street. We had one and it was not noisy - it's a busy street, but at night this town is dead! The room was super spacious and bright. I'm not sure we would have been happy in one of the interior rooms. The swimming pool area was quiet and relaxing with cool, refreshing water! There were practically no guests when we were there so the small size of the pool area was not a problem.

The breakfast was minimal. No cereal, no fruit, just toast, coffee and eggs.

Excellent location in the heart of the city but away from excessive noise. Breakfast and parking right there. Walking distance to all the important places and most restaurants. Attentive service when needed during our one week stay. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very nice pool for afternoons relaxing. Highly recommend this and would stay again.

Elevator was out of order for our 2nd floor room. Parking very tight in the attached garage.

Perfect location, beautiful huge room, 15 ft ceiling,, lovely furnishings, balcony, big flat screen TV, mini fridge, AC worked,. Front desk manned and very helpful with directions, taxis, recommendations. , breakfast eggs, toast, coffee included. Large sunny pool with cushioned lounge chairs!

Could use a few amenities like Kleenex, cups, hand towels & wash clothes per person

The location is perfect, central to everything. There is secure parking available. Also a decent sized swimming pool with loungers, chairs and tables, showers and bathroom. The cafeteria is small, but the staff put out an excellent breakfast. The front desk and other staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. The facility is spotlessly clean.

There are no fridges, or coffee makers in the standard rooms. There was no ceiling fan, so if you want air circulation, you had to use the a/c. The bathroom is cramped, with no hands towels, only 2 bath towels.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly.

As an ex-hotelier these are my suggestions: Bathroom. Some make-up removal pads and cotton wool. Drinking glasses. I found that the height of the sink was particularly higher than the usual standard. A second suitcase stand for a 2nd suitcase would be useful

the room description and list of amenities is not accurate. there are only two electrical outlets in my room. one for the tv (across the room from the bed) and one in the bathroom. it also said there was a safe but there is not. neither of these things was a deal breaker for me but I would certainly update the listing to accurately represent the facilities

The hotel is nothing remarkable but offers good quality, business hotel like accomodation and is finished to a high standard. The beds are comfy, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is great. The interior of the rooms are like a Hilton Garden Inn and the beds are just as good.

The breakfast was poor and most rooms don't have any view, just a window looking into another room across a small outside courtyard. The pool area is sunny but small and not that nice to sit in.

Everyone and everything was great! really friendly and the location was awesome. The pool was a nice touch. It’s location is like 2 streets from the busy bars and everything is walkable.

The breakfast could do with a little improvement. Coffees and Orange juice wasn’t great. Just a little more love there would make this place a bargain!

Breakfast was included in room rate, room was spacious and quiet. Furnishings were very attractive and bathroom was large and well equipped. The air conditioning worked well, too! Hotel Lopez is in Centro and convenient to all the restaurants and charming squares.

There is one floor that isn't accessible by elevator and it was a little hard to hoist our luggage up the stairs.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's located in the city Centre of Campeche and basically everything except the ADO station is reachable by feet. I liked the hotel itself because everything is open space.

But unfortunately the open space leads to a kinda loud environment for instance if kids are playing or people are talking at the hallway.
