we liked it was close by everything. we very much enjoyed the karaoke bar they had I was down to celebrate my birthday staff was very kind very humble and respectful as well as helpful.

the room where we stayed at was very nice and had a beautiful view unfortunately I did see a few nail clippings on the carpet when I went to plug in my charger for my phone which was kinda gross and the bathroom shower had hair on the drain. what I really disliked about it was the parking we picked a wrong time to go because they were having the Baja 500 annual race and because of this a lot of the parking was taken we paid a good amount to stay and didn’t want to leave our car outside and we also didn’t like to be woken up at 6am to have our car moved I think the whole parking situation was very poorly organized and the people that were in the race should of only been allowed to park one car because it was an inconvenience to everyone there who was not there for that.

It is in a prime location, the views are spectacular. It can be a little loud at times, but it has to do more with the town than with the location. It is a great value and the staff are excellent. Bonus tip if driving there, have Carlos wash your car. He is a great guy and does a great job at washing and taking care of your vehicle.

i cannot think of a single thing I did not appreciate from the hotel. If I need more sentences to fill this space, I suppose I could request bigger tvs in the room.

It's very well located and close to all. Food fun and entertainment. The rooms are a good size, wish they had coffee maker and fridge but they are a good place to stay. Loved theur kareoki bar its a great place to hang out at night.

The rooms are a little out dated and rugs on floor need a clean but overall it was a good place.

The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to the center of town, many restaurants, and shops. The view was great, we were overlooking the pier. We don't spend much time in the room, other than sleeping and resting. The price is great .

The carpet in the room had stains, the hotel is older, so it is understood that there is wear and tear. However, I do think the carpets should be cleaned or replaced.

Nice view of the ocean, great location close to a lot of places since it’s located in el centro, across the street from el malecón, nice staff, pool, breakfast restaurant, bar and mini cafe, hard floor instead of carpet.

No iron or coffee maker, rooms need deep cleaning, area around the tub was really gross.

The three families that stayed at Hotel Villa Marina were very happy with our over all experience. We decided to stay here primarily based on recent reviews from other guest. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 20 years. However, our previous stay around 2018, the hotel was looking rundown and in need of repairs. We would not have stayed here if not for the positive recent reviews. When we arrived, we could tell a lot of work has gone in to renovating the hotel. The staff members we dealt with were very courteous and helpful. The room rates were affordable. There are new elevators; new carpet; the rooms were nice and clean. The two swimming pools and the grounds around them were clean. The bar staff was nice and food and drinks great. The restaurant staff was nice and food was great. There is a large parking lot with 24 hr security. Parking during the week was nice. All three families would definitely stay here again.

Most of the people in our group did not find the pillows very comfortable. Parking on Friday and Saturday nights gets packed. It seems emergency vehicles with sirens on pass by the hotel 24 hrs a day. Other than that I can not say anything else I did not like. On a different note, not related to the hotel, beware of a long term bridge/road repair going on east of the hotel. It will affect you, if you are planning to go to La Buffadora (The Blow Hole). Also, the beach was and is still closed because of water contamination August, 2021.

Location and parking with attendance. The “BIG” change. Updated rooms!!! A great value for a couple or family stay.

breakfast wasn’t really open at 7am., but it’s the off season with a only a few cars in the parking lot. The location on the hotel, and two open restaurants across the street…not an issue.

For anyone visiting Ensenada this hotel is perfect very close to shops and restaurants. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

This is not a totally fair answer. The hotel is looking aged but the room prices are very fair and reasonable. So depending on need and budget this hotel is an excellent value In a great location. The swimming pool was cold but again we visited at a colder time of the year.

This is my 3rd visit to the hotel, gets better every time. The new bar furniture is great! open really late, good time had by all.

on this visit I was sad not to eat in the restaurant, Great breakfast! but they had a private function on this occasion

loved how close it is to everything in the towns center, felt very safe and secure. beds were comfortable.

the carpet felt a little dirty but that’s understandable. the shower pressure was a little too strong
