The room itself is nice, spacious and modern. Good soundproofing between rooms, cant hear a single thing apart from people walking pass out in the hallway when the room is quiet (e.g. TV isnt turned on). Love the fact that the main floors of the room are not carpeted, makes it easier to clean and stay clean. A nice lovely carpeted space with a floating desk and a lounge sofa to enjoy the view of the town or the valleys of KK. Bathrooms are spacious, and modern (e.g bidet and toilet and with a choice of two types of shower heads), getting a shower with a good water pressure to wash away the tiredness of the day.

The doors might need abit of soundproofing, as people can be heard as they pass by the hallway. At times, there are strong scents of bleach and chlorine around and about, while knowing its for cleaning purposes, it does gets overpowering sometimes to guests and staffs in my opinion.

The hotel location is in the heart of Kota Kinabalu ,and near take about 15mins to some destination such as Fillipino market, Tanjung Aru Beach, Sabah State Museum and Pu Toh Temple. A chinese seafood restaurant is just across the road, of course nearby also available many foods and grocery store. Staff are attentive and helpfulness about all questions. They have room service daily and refill water everyday, i am quite suprised and happy to have these services which i never been get in other country.

Breakfast menu is almost just same for our 3 days stay and some foods were not refill eventhough we having it on 8am, no many choices for breakfast. Nasi lemak taste average and salty. We have dinner in their Gordian Cafe but suprisingly foods are too bad and didn't meet our expectation even just a fries & chips. Hope for some improvement.

I love the service there, I asked for a complimentary cake for my husband as it was his birthday, and I was expecting a sliced cake as that's what hotels usually gave but instead, we received a whole cake! We were shocked and felt blessed as hotel staffs went extra mile to buy a whole cake as a complimentary. Thank you so much!! And the view! The view we got from our room, is really 😍 thank you so much!

As location is up in the mountains, there's flies and insects everywhere when lights are switched on. There's a gap by the sliding glass door of the balcony so insects went through it. But it's OK as we used the curtains and put a chair against it to cover the gap.

great property and service. bit far from from town but the low price makes it great value for money. we used multiple facilities and all were great. staff was superb all through everywhere. comfortable rooms and utilities. breakfast is pretty good. not a big spread because it is not a grand star hotel. but still good variety and good taste. gym is well equipped. parking is adequate. would strongly recommend this place if looking for a non city central place to stay.

Great service provided by Mr Mizan and his FO team. The hotel is quite new, I love their urban style design (aka separuh siap design). The room I stayed comes with excellent Kota Kinabalu City view, especially the sunset view. I was staying at twin sharing bedroom. Room facilities was great, you can screensharing / bluebooth sharing to the smart TV. P/S Audio system quite good, but I like the city view the most! Will definitely come back again together with my family for vacation.

The room temperature is colder than the fridge :') And the toilet ventilation could be better.

We found the staff really friendly and helpful, especially in helping us with takeaway breakfast prepared by their restaurant because for both times we had to leave before 7am, their usual breakfast serving time. We also found that the restaurant there had good choices for dinner at reasonable prices. We also liked the beautiful view of the mountains from our room. This place is really good value for money.

The room was great with comfortable bed, great hotel style (industrial chic). Definitely worth the price. Great place to R&R or business meeting. Convenient store is just nearby and nearby city center

The breakfast area is amazing. Ambience was great but the breakfast selection was a little disappointing. I would like to see a nice pastries with a bit more jam selection. A proper continental. The day we stayed, there was a fire alarm because someone was smoking in the room. Good point is the fire alarm work. but the bad point is the handling of the situation, repetitive announcement could be limited to one or two.

The hotel is so clean, new and look so modern.

The bed is quite high.If you come to stay in with children, especially Toddler,beware with that,and the table edge is quite sharp,and heavy. I expected there's was a bathtub, unfortunately there's none . The bathroom design is not my preference,(you'll know once you'll stay there) water leaked to the hallway during you took shower. But overall, the stay was worth the money,since it's reasonable.If you're buffet lover, the choice is very limited here,and food taste is so so..

The room is clean and the beds are really comfy. The room size is appropriately spacious. I am most impressed by the staff at Ibis hotel, from the receptionist to the staff working in the cafe, they are exclusively professional and committed to customers' needs. We had long discussion and meeting many customers in the cafe for few days. The staff not only served us well with drinks but also took good care of our customers, making us feeling at ease to do what we do best. Thank you STAFF AT IBIS!

The wifi in the room is mostly unavailable, making working in room not so convenient.
