The hotel staff is very nice, and the check in and check out is very easy, (automated machine). The rooms are really good. It is true the bed mattresses are hard compared to European ones, but I quite enjoyed it and had no issues. The breakfast is included, however it is nothing too special. Most importantly, the location is amazing, with 10 to 15 mins away from shinjuku Station, 5 from shinjuku gyoen garden, and 2 from the local metro mananouchi line. I also had a wonderful view from my room with the skyline and docomo tower which was really fortunate. I was a solo traveller, so small room was perfect. Clean towels every day.
Walls are a bit thin, and other tourists can be loud. It seems they separate foreigners on the top floors. Understandable as different culture norms but as someone who is quite and respectful, it was unfortunate to have to hear loud tourists. Drinking cup was clean, but tea cup in room was very dirty so not used. Bed sheet could've have been cleaned a bit better as even though they seemed cleaned, I came across a few hair strands that were not mine (I am blonde and these were very dark) I enjoyed bed but pillows could be better.

The hotel is easily accessible from Shinjuku Gyoenmae-station (just around the corner), Shinjuku Sanchome-station (a few corners off), and Shinjuku station (10 min by foot), while still being off the main roads avoiding the noise of traffic. The rooms are similar sized to other business hotels (usually rather small compared to western standards) but this is also Tokyo and smaller rooms are expected. Despite this I had no issues fitting into the room, bathtub, or wherever as 190+ cm tall. Despite my poor Japanese I had no issues communicating with the personnel via combinations of english, japanese, and google translate.
Walls into the hallway might be a tad thin, if you have rowdy floor neighbours you might hear them traversing the hallway. Can't really blame the hotel for people being unable to keep quiet outside their rooms.

The front desk people were very helpful. My daughters wanted Totoro clothing but I couldn't find any in Tokyo. The front desk Caucasian lady and a Japanese gentleman who could speak English called a lot of stores and inquire about Totoro clothing for me. They both deserve commendations as they went above their duty to assist me. Japanese breakfast was good and the staff always replenish the food. Hotel location was excellent. There was a subway station a couple minutes of walk from the hotel. And it's a half hour walk to the main Shinjuku station. There were many 7-Eleven, Lawson and Family Mart around the hotel.
Paper thin walls and windows. I was at the highest floor (13) and you can hear conversations in the street. Also, you can hear next door people talking, coughing and packing lugguages.

*1st time in Japan* * MAILMAN, SO USED TO WALKING* the staff were helpful and always nice. Room was clean and I rarely heard anyone outside a door closing. Has a decent size tub and a rainfall shower/reg nozzle combo. The best part of the hotel, and reason I will stay in this area next time if not this exact place is LOCATION. You have a Lawson's and entrance to a train station basically on top of you, As well as accommodating cafes. A beautiful park is a maybe a 5 minute walk away and a 20 minute walk to KABUKICHO with an extra 5 to get to the heart of shinjuku. I found it's perfect to take day trips around Tokyo and then end the night playing crane games, getting drunk and then just walking back to the hotel without worrying about taking a train back anywhere.
Only complaint was the bed was very hard although it didn't bother me to sleep on. Not a complaint of the hotel but Google maps did send me to another building in the same block. But the place is easy to find one you're there, has a sign out front and on top of building.

Great location, friendly staff, clean & comfortable room, price. It's literally 2-minute walk from the nearest subway station (but much bigger Shinjuku station is also only 15-minute walk away). Room was nice and spacious for the price I paid. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
Two things: (1) Shower temperature setting was very finicky and it didn't stay at the temperature for a long time. (2) A/C unit was sometimes dripping water onto TV and the desk. It made me panic when I woke up and saw some water on my laptop on the desk (thank god it's still working). It would've been a perfect stay if it weren't for those two things.

The hotel is extremely close to the convenience store and the gyoemmae metro station. This makes traveling extremely easy. The hotel is also very walkable from anything you might need around Shinjuku. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. The room for me had enough space for my luggage and other things. The location of the hotel is also in a quiet area. The bed was also a good size and good to sleep on. The ac in the room was a big plus.
Sometimes you can hear ambulance noises and other street sounds because the window isnt soundproofed but this is to be expected when in tokyo. The check-out time could be a bit later.

Good location a couple of minutes from the M line. Very clean, though they could clean a few days after check in and a few before check out, as cleaning on the 4th means the room was in need of a tidy up, but then the next day I checked out so not much point in a clean room for one evening! Facilities were all decent
Water takes a while to run hot and can be finicky, but mostly stable. Only one pillow on a double bed! Yes I was one person but why not more Reception staff don't speak English!! Get your Google translate out and show them the Japanese translation if you want to communicate. One reception lady had her own translation device which helped. Though they could really use some very basic English. Breakfast is simple and Japanese style. If you like mackerel at 8am you're in luck. Only alternative a tiny packaged croissant.

Given that the breakfast is free, nothing much to complain. You get to enjoy what local eat in the morning (rice, vegetable, meat & miso soup). There's also bread but with limited selection. The room is exactly like what it was shown on the booking website. Free amenities like comb, razor, teas, female packs (cleansing oil, facial cleanser etc) are provided at the lobby for guests to freely take (do take what you are able to finish). Good enough for solo traveler (but if you're carrying a 28' luggage, it might make the room much smaller). Perfect location if you came out from the right exit from the nearest train station, if not, acceptable walking distance to this property even if you're carrying luggage. If I'm travelling alone next time in Tokyo with the same budget, I will not be hesitating to pick this property again.
If i were to say, it must be the water heater. It doesn't react instantly. Get your google translate ready to communicate with the Japanese receptionist.

Convenient location, close to Shinjuku but far enough from all the noise. I really liked the size of my room and big bed. All the nescesery toiletries are provided and you can get pijamas as well. Breakfast is super yummy, everyday is something different and you can refill as much as you want.
Walls are thin, you can hear next door guests if they are noisy.

It was great, but bonus points for the staff being amazing and patient and kind etc. Wifi was also great, considering I work remotely, I had no issues with it. Good location as well. I LOVED the fact that I could pack breakfast to go and eat in my room, I've not had that at a hotel before, without an extra cost... I just appreciated this addition!
I was expecting bread to also be an option at breakfast. This is not a dislike at all it was just an expectation based on what I saw on the website and it wasn't there. But even without it, the breakfast was good, basic, filling, Japanese
