the breakfast was very good, a lot of Japanese options. nice that the rooms had a fridge, coffee and tea making facilities. very clean the onsen on top was great, open very late. fridge with ready meals and microwave is also a great idea
there was No closet in the room, so it was not very convienient especially since this was a longer stay and the clothing had to stay in the suitcase (only four hangers were available in the room) bathroom was tiny, similar to a lot of other hotels in Japan

The location is central and easy to reach from Tokyo Shinkansen station. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around. You can stroll around the neighborhood for an exciting walk. If you have more time you can actually walk to Ginza or a park in Hamamatsu-chō. I highly recommend the shared bath on the top floor. It features an open ceiling. Our room on the third floor overlooked the street in front of the building which was particularly nice to watch at at night. There was an ice cube machine on the same floor which came in really handy during our stay in summer. Also, the coffee we found with the water cooker in-room was unexpectedly good quality.
On our arrival all four staff at the reception were wearing notably stained jackets. This appearance oddly contrasted with the otherwise impacable cleanliness of the place. Perhaps a matter of policy or a one-off incident. I found the staff to be otherwise professional and kind.

It's a really great place to stay and as a primary point of reaching any Tokyo place. The rooms were clean, overall view from the corner room on second floor (202) was so-so, but provided enough light and a good view on the Shimbashi life. Staff was really helpful providing an iron, exchanging for laundry and giving me another card when I got stuck with none. Breakfasts were good and we did not spend time on looking for something that was open that early. Spa on 12th floor was good enough and had a sauna, though did not provide any view on the city...
Shimbashi is a special place with night life, pachinko and "special massages", so if you're not comfortable with seeing awaiting girls while you're walking from the station to the hotel in the evening - it's not for you. Also you can't enter the other floors (except for 1, 11 and your floor), so plan accordingly if you're traveling with your friends.

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the subway where you get to all parts of Tokyo very quick and just a few minutes away from Ginza by foot. The hotel provided us every day with fresh towels and amenities. Bed & pillows were really comfy. The staff was very friendly. Check-in & check-out were super quick! Breakfast was freshly made.
The room is a bit too small if you want to unpack your suitcase. But in Tokyo most of the hotel rooms are not so spaceous. There is no wardrobe where to put in all your clothes. The breakfast could be more varied and not the same every day (if you stay 5 nights like we did, it gets a bit boring to eat the same every day)

Very close to Shimbashi station. Our favourite stay in Tokyo. On the Yamanote line, so accessible to everything but not close enough to the centre to be crazy busy/expensive. TONS of food options around the area (including some for me as a vegetarian which is difficult in Tokyo). Staff were friendly, beds were super comfy. A combini nearby and a bottle/alcohol store right next door where we could find the tonic water we had been looking everywhere for. Didn’t use the pool/onsen or laundry but the rest of the hotel was really nice so i’m sure it’s great. A little early for check in and the staff let us sit and wait with a beer. Also stored my bags for a few hours after check out which was super helpful. Highly rate the hotel and location. Also loved that there was a starbucks handy at the station entrance for a coffee before we set out touristing each day.
The fridge wasn’t very cold but overall that was a minor detail that didn’t bother us too much.

The location was ok, Shimbashi is a vibrant district with cool nightlife. Not the best for reaching Shinjuku or Shibuya tho. The distance between subways (Ginza Line) and Yamanote is like a 10-minute walk, so, not a hassle. The rooftop baths are cool and spacious, the laundry service is appreciated and the smoking room near it has a cool view of Shimbashi Skyline.
The staff's English was ok at best, sometimes it was kinda difficult to communicate. But needless to say, in the end, they answered all our questions (even if they weren't able to book us a taxi, but it was during Golden Week, so it was understandable). The baths were cool, but we were expecting to be able to see the Skyline via the baths, however, all the glasses were opaqued, so it was kinda impossible.

I liked that the staff was helpful, especially with my luggage 🧳 and the little things in the hotel. Cleaning was superb and everything was working as should be. I recommend it especially if you want to feel secured since the elevator is working only with a cip card that you get in the hotel. Also breakfast is good and you can choose from many different types of food and juices
I didn't get to use their onsen for I had tattoos. I do understand that many people would feel intimidated if they see tattoos however it was the only place I was declined access to it 😕

It was my third stay in a Candeo hotel in 8 months and I am always charmed by the atmosphere that emanates from this chain of Japanese design hotels. The rooms are comfortable and carefully decorated. The breakfast buffet is simply sumptuous with a rich variety of cold and hot Japanese dishes and western options. On the rooftop, the onsen includes showers, a dry sauna and traditional Japanese hot and cold baths well relaxing after a day of work or tribulations in the overheated capital. The staff is friendly and helpful. Last but not least, the hotel is located in the center of Shimbashi, a lively part of Tokyo not far from other interesting parts, close to public transportation and many restaurants, pubs, shops, museums...
Nothing.
