APA Hotel Takasaki Ekimae

We loved the bath facilities, and the closeness to the train. The restaurant on the main floor was convenient as well. We love apa hotels for their consistency and cleanliness. The front staff were lovely and tried hard with us to communicate with our awful amount of Japanese.

The room was quite cramped for a couple, we are used to Japanese rooms and it was still small, even compared to other apa hotels. Fine for single occupancy.

Location, really near the station and no need to cross any intersection since it is connected via foot path. Good nearby places to eat.has communal bath. Check in and check out were quick. Staff were friendly and explain everything that is happening eg cleaning schedule, aircon maintenance . Has option to pay for breakfast

I liked the location since it’s basically right next to the train station which facilitates all transportation. The hotel also had an onsen.

The room was very narrow, the only way to fully open my bag was putting it on the bed.

We stayed in the APA Hotels all over Japan, seems like a good price for the quality you get. Always clean room, good heating system, some small cosmetics and possibility to eat in the hotel (which we did not use). Overall we were always content with the service.

Restrictions on public bath entry. My family are born in overseas. Some of us have tattoos on their body which is pretty normal. But having old believe on tattoo is very old fashion 😞

Super close to the station. Most things were automated at check in but the staff were really helpful when needed. The room was small but had everything I needed and the bath was great. They also have good information on their room tv in a few different languages.

For an additional charge, the hotel provides buffet breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. The onsen facility was an added bonus.

The room size was quite small, and could be uncomfortable if more than 1 person are staying longer than 1 night. The price for that room could have been lower.

Why not leaving a 10/10 so this hotel can maximize his income ? Even if to tell truth, absolutely everything there made me disgusted. It is fine only for the location, and the building is brand new, so here is my 10/10, but the truth is it has no taste, no soul, nothing about humanity beating here. I stayed there during the coronavirus world war and Apa hotel Japan was doing cheaper rates than a bunk bed hotel in India, we felt that the economy was going crazy. Make more debts to boost consumption always and always, end killing all the competitors. We could not even say someone there seemed to work hard, all the staff were young underpaid persons who had no interest except escaping from their desolated village. Who knows then what will be the future ? Hotels like Apa everywhere, the same tiny room for a price adjusted on the market, or will we be back to the reality where each human being is different, then each business too ?

The room was comfortable. Small, but well laid out. The WiFi worked well. TV was great. It was nice that the remote had a bi-lingual button and that BBC world news was on 24/7. An ice bucket could be picked up at the front desk.

Onsen and coin laundry was very usefull, kind staff, convinience location.

The TV was switched on automatically and the volume was too loud when I got into the room.
