APA Hotel Shizuoka-eki Kita

I like that it was super clean. Bathtub was very clean and made me feel comfortable bathing my grandson in it. Room was quiet. I heard no extraneous noise. Bed was comfortable and the tv was large, flat screen and had English language options. Temp control was great. Coffee shop across the street was convenient. Close to Shinkansen train station, nice bars nearby, and restaurants.

Room was small —as can be expected in Japan. No microwave in room although there was one accessible downstairs on first floor. I couldn’t stay here comfortably for an extended amount of time but great for a night or two. We enjoyed our one night stay.

I liked that the car park was next to the hotel. They had multiple options so even when the car park is full you will find parking. There are at least 3 multiple tier parking lots. Staff was friendly and courteous. I would book again if on the area. I almost passed on this opportunity because of an unpleasant experience with one of the chains in Tokyo last month, but happy I decided to try them again.

The location is very close to Shizuoka station. The staffs are very attentive and polite. The bed was also comfortable.

Only the air conditioner in my room that I can't change between the cooler and the heater. I came for the colder place so during my stay it was so hot I can't sleep well.

We liked that the hotel was only about an 8 minute walk from the JR Station. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we really appreciated that they were able to store our luggage after we had checked out. Our room was small but very efficiently designed and the bed was very comfortable.

Quite a nice and modern hotel. Unfortunately my room had no view, it was just the wall of the building next door. Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and its a slightly better room than what I expected (felt more premium).

that computer check in just does not work and it did not except my APA member card the room even it was a double room with single use was tiny

Location is about 7 minutes from station.

There are only two washing machines so we have to wait for hours….,,

Conveniently located near the Shizuoka station area.

Next to some noisy drinking and eating eating areas.

Friendly staff, close to the station, clean, and I checked out a little bit late, but they didn't charge me anything.

Quite far away from Train Station, but nearby main parks and sighseeing places.

The rooms is pretty small.
