HOTEL MYSTAYS Kanazawa Castle

Everything was lovely and comfortable. Separate toilet always helps, lovely facilities. We had our 5 year old and was able to move the beds together so that we did not have to worry about her falling out of bed. Great location, easy walk to the station and it was an easy walk to the castle, the garden and the super busy fish markets. Microwave on the ground level for when you buy something from the convenient store. Little fridge in the room.

Nothing - it is Japan and space can be tricky with 3 suitcases in the room. We were able to make do.

Location was great but you'll need to know how to move through the lanes for a short cut to the hotel. Google led us through a big loop but after being familiar we managed to move quickly from Kanazawa station to the hotel. We walked through ForUs shopping mall, then to Game Paradise, cross the road facing the Family Mart, walk along the road next to the Family Mart and reach the hotel. It seems long but it's pretty fast. There's another MyStays nearby - don't go to the wrong hotel :)

Location was very near the station, less than a 5 min walk down the road. Surrounded by many restaurants but surprisingly not a convenience store. Staff were friendly and many amenities available to take as needed.

Rooms were small but that is expected of Japan. Rooms are a bit dated but suffice to sleep. Beds are comfortable at least so furnishings are not old. Toilet was actually a laughably pathetic size. There is a public bath but it tends to get crowded. There was only centralized heating which made it too warm sometimes.

Excellent location, easy walking distance to train station and buses, including the tourist Kanazawa Loop bus. Room was clean, comfortable bed, amenities were conveniently provided, staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast (optional extra) was buffet style with a nice selection of tasty Western and Eastern style dishes. The laundromat in the hotel was very handy. Family Marts, 7-eleven, and many restaurants nearby. Excellent value and highly recommended.

The room is big and comfortable. We can open our suitcase fully in the room. It has two big windows and the air is flashing, the view is good, the sunlight is wonderful. The hotel’s location is good. We really enjoy it.

The woman public bathhouse is small and full of people. It cannot accommodate many people, so that we could not use it. The air in the public bathhouse is not circulating. We are so sad that we cannot use it.

My family booked two renovated triple rooms and stayed two nights. The rooms were spacious with toilet and washroom separated. The hotel supplies toiletries and amenities which includes skincare products. There was an onsen which was located in another building and it was comfortable. We opted for a car park lot and it was right in front of the hotel, very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The situation is very good, 5 minutes from the central station. The best, the breakfast, different options and very large. We also liked the Onsen, a bit outdated but authentic (the only thing you have to go out of the hotel, annex building).

The staff did not speak English (as in many other places) and it was difficult to communicate outside of the ordinary. The rooms it was small.

The room they gave me was spacious for 3 persons. We had our own chairs and table. Location is very close to JR Kanazawa station, around 5-6 mins walking. The bathroom is separated with toilet which helped us to use bathroom and toilet freely. We also had our own powder room, which is very good.

The hot springs and close access to shops and restaurants.

There was an instance that shocked me that they were cleaning my room, and my valuables are still in there. I can attribute that to probably a misunderstanding, but they left my hotel room door ajar open. Super concerning during my stay.

It is very close to station and shopping mall. The staff allowed us to store luggage when we arrived early. The pillows were supportive to our neck as they were similar to the ones we were using!

The locks of the room and toilet were not functioning properly leading to an unsecured feeling during our stay!
