Al Canal Regio

The bathroom was immaculate and newly done and the same for the room. No TV which is such a blessing. The location was great with a supermarket just round the corner and a American star restaurant with a lovely roof terrace overlooking the canal. We had a room right on the canal which, although very noisy if the windows are open was perfectly quiet when they were shut. Bed was fantasticly comfy.

We had a minor issue with plumbing with bathroom sink being full of water due to plug not coming out, but the girl on reception resolved this while we were out so no big deal. My main reservation was that we booked an apartment which was supposed to have a separate living room and sofa bed, but we were not given this. We were given a double room. Since the room was on the canal and much nicer than the so called apartment they offered instead, we accepted that, but still I felt I was paying for something that I didn’t get, but I can’t fault the room that we did have it was lovely

Location was nice near San Marco and a Water Taxi stop. Also near a main street with lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful.

We had to find a room last minute because our flights were cancelled back to the USA. Prices were elevated for last minute bookings for a Friday and Saturday night. But, this hotel offered the most reasonable prices for a last minute stay, was conviently located and took good care of us.

Location was perfect for our needs, nice staff, we got there earlier that the check in time yet still were given the room, we got a free room upgrade which was a lovely touch, room was a good size and overlooking the canal, breakfast was very tasty even if a little limited on choices

The room felt a bit too cold even with heating fully on; the floor was tiled, so make sure you have slippers as the floor was very cold

Amazing location! (although maybe tricky to find as it sits in a courtyard) Comfortable beds and good value compared to other hotels in the area

I had a very nice stay here. It was cozy, the staff was very friendly and I would deffinetly recommend this Guest House. Jacopo was very helpfull, he gave us a lot of information about Venice and is very friendly as well!

The room with a channel view is absolutely amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The staff was very nice.

The room is not cheap so I was waiting for better hair dryer not the one on the wall, bath robs and sleepers could be great for this price also

Don't let the first impression keep you from staying here - hidden in a dodgy looking Cul de Sac, looking a bit worn down with a barely working door we felt quite lost for the first few minutes. But once inside, we were more than satisfied. The room is spacious, modern and stylish, not too kitsch-y, the bed is super comfy and the bathroom has an overhead shower. YES! The room also has a TV, mini-fridge and the AC is adjustable to your needs, which was the most amazing thing for me. The breakfast is ok, nothing too special but enough to start your day. The young man working here went out of his way to make sure we were happy with everything!! Best part is the location though! It's right off a main street so really close walking distance to all major sights, there's a coop store right outside and several bars and restaurants within a 5 minutes walk. But since it's hidden in that tiny alley it's very quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Check-In was a bit of a hassle, but understandably so due to the recent cuts in staff due to Covid. Breakfast could include a bit more savoury stuff, but it was ok.

Staff were lovely, happy to help with whatever you need. Hotel was beautiful and in such a great location, everything you could possibly need was just on our doorstep. Comfortable rooms, slept like a dream with the sounds of the boats and water, not to mention the room was spotless when we arrived. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

Could have been cleaner. Would have enjoyed some fruit at breakfast. Breakfast room very tiny.

Everything. The breakfast was great and the room was lovely. The owner even helped me get my luggage (as I had a lot) to the next nights stay. Great stay!
