Food, staff except for housekeeping.

Hotel position means there is nowhere to walk outside the hotel other than along the busy road with no pavement! Hotel wifi is dreadful. Understand hotel is to be refurbished over this coming winter.

beautiful decor; exceptional staff, always eager to help, very well-trained throughout the hotel. the evening menu was exceptionally well cooked.

a little isolated. 35 mins walk into stresa on a road (in places) with no pavement - the free hotel shuttle finished at 6:00pm. so if you want to eat in stresa in the evening, you probably have to pay for a taxi back to the hotel. also, although the evening menu was beautifully cooked, it didn’t change throughout our 10 days there; given there were only about three choices per course, it became a little repetitive. (but it was exceptionally well cooked)

The attention to detail is amazing , the pool area are really nice too , the front desk manage sara sadek was extremely helpful when we needed support she was very attentive The view from our room was also lovely and Also, all the staff in all departments are wonderful, smiling and friendly, making you feel at home

Nothing! The only thing which could be improved is having the hotel shuttle to the centre run more often. The internet signal could also be slightly improved as it is sometimes weak and in certain places within the hotel.

very grand hotel

we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is very grand. Only criticism - there was a nespresso machine in our room with coffee capsules, but no milk. When we asked for milk we were charged 7 euros! The hotel did withdraw the charge when challenged. would suggest some UHT milk capsules be provided.

Exceptionally good service Breakfast was very good.

Bath itself was perhaps a bit challenging! The shuttle bus should be available until at least 9.00pm

Staff were accessible and very helpful. The breakfast offerings were large and well prepared. The location is a short distance to Stresa and the ferries. Our room was a good size and offered a nice view of lake Maggiore. The dining room was beautiful and the meals while expensive were good.

I have chosen Villa e Palazzo Aminta to celebrate my birthday and I cannot imagine a better place for this special occasion. Everything was just perfect. The hotel is very classy and elegant, it's a real palace with beautiful and elegant design. The staff is very professional and kind, always ready to assist you in the best possible way. As we were coming from Milan by train, we used the free shuttle survice from Stresa in order to reach the hotel. The Bulgarian guy George who took us from the center of Stesa and brought us to the hotel, was very kind and professional and his help and kindness during our whole stay, were really appreciated. The rooms in the hotel are modern, spacious and comfortable. As soon as we checked in, I recieved an unexpected surprise - the hotel staff brought me a bottle of champaign and a whole Sacher cake with a candle for my birthday. Really an amazing surprise that for sure made my stay more beautiful from the very beginning. The pool area is very nice with a gorgeous view to the Borromean islands. The Spanish lady Angela, who is responsable for both the pool and the private beach area, is so nice and helpful, ready to solve every problem, always smiling and welcoming you in the best possible way. As I mentioned above, apart from the pool, there is also a private beach that is really amazing and allows you to swim directly in the lake and trust me, the experience is amazing and really worthy try it. The lake water is wonderful. The breakfast is with quality products, nothing missing, they are also prepared for special requests. The breakfast room is very elegant and the terrace with a lake view is the best place to enjoy your breakfast and start the day in an amazing way. Unfortunately we couldn't try the spa, as we didn't have enough time and we preferred to spend our time around the lake.

The housekeeping needs to report to the manager about any cracks or removable parts related to the decorative part of the room or repainting the dissolved paints. It is essential to have routine checks on the rooms to sustain the beauty of the hotel structure for many years to come.
