Carmine and Giuseppe were the loveliest hosts we could have asked for. They were very fast with communicating via whatsapp and checked with us every day about breakfast the following day (we had breakfast everyday as it was great value for money and delicious) They were both very attentive and helpful giving us lots of recommendations on places nearby to visit and transport. The room and bathroom was also extremely clean and new - we requested to stay in 'Paestum' room as this had 2 balconies. Location was also amazing as it was very close to the centre of town, the port for boats along the coast and the train/bus station.

The only small thing was the shower temp constantly changing between hot and cold. Also quite loud at night with cars and loud bikes driving past despite not being on a main road - but this would probably be the case on any street.

ideal accommodation situated in Salerno and close to the main shops and restaurants . Guisepe and Carmine were very helpful and flexible in respect of when we chose to have breakfast . Some days we needed to be out early so missed breakfast . Communication with Carmine and Guisepe was excellent . We were able to tell them the previous afternoon via What app if we required breakfast the following day . The breakfast was excellent value . The room was clean and tidy and towels changed daily . The accommodation was perfect for ourselves as we were out the majority of the day and proved to be a great base for sightseeing .

There was nothing we did not like .

Very hospitable. Clean. The ease of $5 breakfast was well worth it. Sweet or salty Salty was egg, yogurt, meat, cheese, fruit bread , one sweet, coffee, juice & water. Close to train , promenade, ferry dock & market is 15 steps away. Kettle in room. Across from UPS/Post office (good landmark). It is in a building, on a main street; street noise is expected. Brothers are very nice and helpful (not proficient in English, Google translate & WhatsApp).

Shower was a bit funky with water or could have been I didn't let it run long enough (kinda went hot/cold/hot/cold). I couldn't figure out how to use towel warmer. Brothers were super nice, but if you encountered a real problem, it might be challenging with language.

Location great for exploring city, catching ferry to Amalfi Coast or Capri. An easy walk from the train station. I’ll Reticolo is wonderfully comfortable and Guiseppe spend amazing amount of time on check in highlighting restaurants, things to do and ways to make visit easy. BTW we tried almost all of his dining recs and they were all sensational. Guiseppe recommended handy parking garage a block away from hotel if I rent a car (there’s a Hertz right from rail station). Salerno is a great place to visit and is sometimes overlooked. come to Salerno it is very fun. Last thing - visit Paestum, Greek ruins UNESCO site 50 minute easy drive from Salerno. Amazing!!!

Very friendly hosts, and a great location not too far from the train station and just around the corner from one of the most popular restaurants in Salerno. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with balconies and comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety and excellent coffee! We were also very happy that there was a lift.

Our shower ran hot then cold then hot again. It was probably fixed after we reported it. The feather duvets would be more comfortable with thicker covers.

A beautiful modern interpretation of a mini hotel within a historic property. Just off the main stretch in solerno. Carmine was an amazing host and went out of his way to accommodate us in anything we needed. He made our stay as easy as it could of been. Rooms were comfortable and clean. His suggestion of a restaurants close by did not disappoint. 10/10 would highly recommend or stay again. Thank you!!

Cannot fault at all.

The staff was helpfull and gave us good information. The breakfast was good.

The information about the accomodation. We had difficulties to get in to the house or contact with the staff. We did not get any information how to reach them. We found out that it was not a hotel, only 5 rooms, with limited service.

we enjoyed our very short stay there for one night. It was clean the beds were small but it was nice to have two twins for my daughter and I. We had a gorgeous view of the city from our little balcony. The air-conditioning was very good and that’s a big deal in Italy. You could make the room very dark with the shades and sleep without any noise from the street. The post was very helpful before we got there he gave us many answers to many questions about transportation in location etc.

Staff went above and beyond ! Despite staying for only one night, front desk had a dozen recommendations written on my own personal map. The room was beautiful, excellent shower. Breakfast was a feast laid out just for me. Real sweeties working here.

The only problem was the wifi wasn't working when I returned after dinner, and because it's a small B&B without a 24h r front desk, no one was there to fix it until the morning (The router just needed to be restarted).

Giuseppe was a fantastic host. He was in contact as soon as reservation was made. He gave us clear directions to hotel and was waiting on our arrival. He allowed us to check in early and gave us many good recommendations for restaurants!

The one and only issue was the shower in our room needs to be replaced asap. It sprays water everywhere and is causing the wall to peel and erode somewhat . Bathroom sink leaking a bit too. Other than that though a wonderful stay!!!
