We enjoyed a stay in this Hotel. The location was great to explore Kowloon and surroundings. There are many stores, restaurants and shops nearby. We recommend to visit sushibar right across the street:) Room service menu was very good, as well as all dining facilities in the hotel. We enjoyed visiting swimming pool. We recommend a room with a partial harbour view, the view is great if you live on a high floor. The room was big, the bathroom is well organized, there is a water filter and a free minibar in the room. We think that this hotel totally valued its price.

The hotel is very well maintained and clean. All the staff are well trained and attentive the moment I stepped into the hotel. My phone got stolen in HK on the first day I arrived and the duty manager, Ivan was very fast to react, he got me a spare laptop for use during my stay so that I can get in touch with my friends. The property is conveniently located opposite Hung Hom MTR, a bit of walk but mostly sheltered, just nice to do some local people watching. Alternatively you can also travel by the cross tunnel buses which stations are located right next to the MTR stations - buses are a very fast and convenient way to travel in HK, you just need to look google maps. Overall it was a pleasant stay had I not lost my phone, and I’ll definitely go back for Hotel Icon’s hospitality.

The price was decent given that it included club access. The club access is really good at the Icon; one of the best I've had in Hong Kong. The bed was huge; good pillows. The staff in the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel is nice and modern. The hotel buffet, the Market, is one of my favorite buffets in Hong Kong, so having this included for breakfast is a big plus. The television over the bathtub is quite a nice touch. Everything in the mini-bar is included in the price.

For a 5 star hotel, the tv situation is dire. The tvs need to be upgraded. My wife and I were looking forward to a short staycation getaway from our daughter for our anniversary. We wanted to just relax and binge on a few tv shows we don't really have the time to watch at home. Unfortunately, the tvs in the rooms don't allow for mirroring from your devices (most 5-star hotels in HK have smart tvs that can mirror nowadays). The terrestrial television feed to the room is very low quality and HBO doesn't even work although it's supposed to. You're mainly just stuck with some local news stations and a few other basic cable channels. Nowadays, I think having streaming access and actual HD/4k televisions should be a prerequisite for 5-star hotels.

Comfortable rooms and great staff. Excellent advice by the concierge and support for everything that was needed. Amazing harbor view from the room. Great restaurants - Above and Beyond and Green.

The hotel does not have a lobby where we could sit and wait for each other as we traveled as a family. We used the Green cafe for coffee, snacks and as a meeting point.

Nice deep bath for recovery after the marathon. Incredible view of the harbour! Comfy bed and powerful shower.

some areas of the hotel may need refurbishing due to age/wear and tear. eg wall panels. minor point though

We stayed here for 2 nights a few days before Christmas. We stayed at this hotel many times before, it's a unique hotel with good location, good view from the room. Love the breakfast, friendly staff, and attentive. The room is a bit small, for a couple and a 1 yr old baby after putting a cot next to the bed, but manageable. There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool next to the gym, but due to winter cold weather, we did not try it this time. Overall it's a nice hotel, but it's a bit pricy, I guess it's due to closer to Christmas holidays.

The pillows, too soft. The bathroom is a bit small for 3 of us. Other than that, it's all good.

The staff was excellent and our request for high floor rooms was fulfilled - in fact being assigned the same suite as one stayed at for our very first visit : ) Fabulous views from our rooms and the buffet breakfast was first rate - as remembered from years ago.

Two of our rooms booked didn't want servicing for every day of our stay but our request for observing the 'do not disturb' sign was still met with repeated email communications; although I understand this may be to cover Housekeeping in case the sign was left out by mistake. Perhaps a note could've been added against these rooms for the duration of our stay instead?
