Great location, no need to take that expensive train from the airport which everyone takes, because even at night there goes a cheap bus, and the bus stop is 5 min from the hostel. Nice staff! Small but cozy common room and kitchen. A cooler with cold and hot water. Free tea and coffee Very clean. Comfortable bed.

Please write in the description how to find the hostel. In case you don't, for other guests: there are no signs in the street, just find "Lyton Building 32-48", come inside, take the the lift to the 5th floor, voila. And the picture near the cooler (with the market) is horrible, ugh.

The location of this property was excellent! Extremely central, easy to get to, and was a convenient base to explore all of Hong Kong. The room was spacious, comfortable, safe, and the shared bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained.

The building itself was under some sort of renovation so looks a little weird from the outside but don't be put off by this. And as expected when it comes to staying in shared accommodation, the thought of sharing a room with strangers can be daunting and awkward. However, the 2 different roommates I had in this trip were very friendly and we got along really well. I would recommend giving it a try if you're on the fence about booking this property (also helps you save up some $ to spend on delicious HK food instead!)

the location is good, close to mtr exit and has 7-11 and many food places nearby 🥹 the staff was so nice and friendly. they had been very helpful with all our questions and requests and the place is really clean. the common room is very cozy, wish I can actually use it more often.

the quadruple-room bathroom could be tricky for people that aren't close to each other so it could get pretty awkward seeing the silhouette in the shower. the lift itself can be scary but it's actually fine and you get used to it pretty fast. it's just worth noting, nothing bad about the place itself. The reception close around 7:30 pm so could be tricky for late check-in or any help regarding stuff onsite

- Double Room has enough space for my husband and I and Hop Inn has bigger space than other hostels we've been to in Hong Kong - Double Room has separate shower area! Other hostels have the shower on top of the sink and very near the toilet - there's a comnon area where you can interact with other guests, microwave, free coffee, water dispenser, etc - location is right across k11 art mall and train exit - Jeremy was very helpful and accommodating - easy to get to/from airport via bus A21 - they offer sim card with unlimited data for 50hkd

Quite comfy for a hostel and the showers are great! I was able to check in late at night as well, the staff was available over whatsapp to let me in.

The place is a bit hard to find from downstairs, and I wasnt sure of the floor where the hostel was either. I was lucky enough to meet someone downstairs who helped me out but it would be helpful to put a sign at the entrance with some indications.

I like the location, just a stone throw's away from the Tsim Tsa Shui's North Exit. The hostel is small but it had everything for a hostel, good enough bunk beds, clean common rooms and bathrooms, free coffee and tea, good internet connection, friendly staff. The design atmosphere was good, it had that DIY boutique design in an old building. I think it had it's own charm.

The check-in time is quite late, starts 3pm but if you do arrive early the staff can accommodate left luggage and you just come back to properly check in at 3pm. The bunk beds were okay but I didn't like that they are made of squeaky metal and the ladders were uncomfortable to climb on (sharp and thin rungs). Good for you if you get assigned the lower bunk beds. AC worked fine but the temperature wasn't cold enough for me, was not able to make it colder than 21 deg celsius. You have to rent towels, not free (for 10hkd and 100hkd deposit) 90% of the time all the hostels I've stayed in provided free towels use. Overall though, I think the hostel manages your stay well, providing all necessary amenities. Especially price-wise staying here was worth it, especially if you are on a budget.

Nicely decorated, clean and well-maintained property. Adequate facilities in the common area (open 24 hours for those who want to read / hang out) and kitchen. Friendly staff. Good value for money. I got a decent sized (double) room for an okay price in a very central location. The hostel is just a one minute walk from the metro. This place can't be beat if you're looking to stay in a downtown location and you're not fussy.

The thick foam mattress is hard while the pillows are rather soft (i.e. low). The combo may be a bit uncomfortable for some to sleep in. The walls are kind of thin, and I could hear the shower running in another room or even water running down some pipes late at night... Overall it was a bit hard to sleep.

The location is excellent. They really care about the cleanness of the place, which is good! HK is expensive & this offers a good price quality for a dorm.

The beds are really hard & some beds barely have a curtain. My suggestion to the team is to give the rooms a lil paint job & look at the curtains situation. Also the showerheads aren't the best but does the job. It's also a bit hard to find from street as there are no signs outside the building.

The hostel was clean and quiet. In my 13-night stay, the bed linen was changed twice, which I would not have expected in a hostel. Also, most of the guests were just there for layovers or hikes, so I was able to sleep well and didn't hear any noise. The hostel offers free drinking water (hot and cold) as well as tea, coffee, and cocoa. There is a camping stove and a microwave, which I found sufficient. I didn't mind washing the dishes in the bathroom - I guess that's just Hong Kong's housing shortage. In my room, every bed (including the top ones) had a curtain. Each bed had 2 power sockets, 2 USB ports, and a bedside lamp. Also, I liked the location near the harbour. I definitely recommend the hostel and will book it again when I return to Hong Kong.

The staircase was quite dirty, and the elevator often broke down , so I always took the stairs to the fifth floor. But that was a minor inconvenience for me, which didn't really bother me.

Really good location right in the center, with transport links to other parts of Hong Kong and the airport. The owner is very nice, helped me through my stay and had good conversations. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Check-in was a little complicated, as I arrived late and didn't have internet access, Best to contact the owner in advance about your arrival time and they can advise how to check-in. The building itself is not very well maintained, the hostel itself is wonderful.
