Kyriad Troyes Centre

This is a very comfortable and functional hotel to stay at for one night whilst travelling. The staff was super efficient and very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, clean and modern. Downstairs, there is even a bar in the lobby and they offer a 24 hour food menu. Sadly the secure private parking was already fully booked and therefore we had to find parking on the street, which was not difficult in the afternoon, but I certainly did not want to give up my parking spot and use the car again to go for dinner in Troyes centre. So we walked (15 -20 minute walk) which was no problem on the way there but it felt a little uneasy in the dark on the way back. The main road was surprisingly quiet and deserted. We were told, Taxis are not really easy to come by in Troyes. Hence the slightly lower score on the location. Next time I would prefer a hotel a little closer to the centre.

Please make it absolutely clear in the description that the parking has to be pre-booked. I certainly was not aware that this was the case and assumed that parking was no problem at all.

First time in Troyes and took a gamble on this place. A pleasant stay with very helpful staff.(Jean -Philippe If I remember correctly, was the front office staff on duty) The hotel is located 10/15 minutes walk to the centre of Troyes on a direct well lit street to the centre. The room was bigger than most hotels in the area based on what we have seen with other friends. It was spotlessly clean, and even though it was located on a main road, it was incredibly quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

The toilet was completely separate from the bathroom and had no tap, which meant having to walk over to the bathroom to wash..found that odd.

We have stayed in many hotels in Troyes as its tends to be the last place we visit before heading home to Calais. This is the best hotel which we will return to. It is modern, rooms nicely air conditioned. Separate toilet to shower which is good for male friends sharing a room. Breakfast was good. Parking is available for motorbikes which is £10 per spot. We were able to get our 7 motorbikes into 2 spots. It is underground parking and secure.

Couldn't get the WiFi to work. Barman was very slow.

The staff was wonderful giving great recommendations about where to eat and what to do in the area. Furthermore they were very accommodating about what to do in the area, and the breakfast was good, not amazing but a fair meal for the price.

Nothing out of the ordinary, i would have liked some toothbrushes in the bathroom or something else then the very coarse soap. But then again its a affordable hotel not the HIltons. If you are staying for a short time this hotel is clean, has good breakfast and your car/motorcycle/bicycle is safe

For a budget hotel with secure parking in this delightful town this hotel is good value for money and the staff are very friendly.

I have stayed here several times, always happily and at the rear of the property, which means I can sleep with the window open as traffic noise is minimal.. This time I was given a room overlooking the road junction and traffic lights at the front of the property which was excessively noisy with the window open. Also, one of the reading lights by the bed was missing.

- Comfortable bed: We slept really well here as the bed was super comfortable and of a good size. - Location: A 15 minute walk from the city centre. - Parking: For an additional fee of €10, the hotel offers it's own private parking. - Room: The room was very spacious and had all the amenities that one would expect of a model hotel room: lighting controlled from bed, a range of lighting options, AC, a safe.

Breakfast: Breakfast is available at an additional feel of €10 pp until 10:30. We arrived at the buffet at 10:10 and most of the food was completely gone (no cheeses, no scrambled eggs). As the breakfast should still have been available, we expected that these dishes be replenished until 10:30. It was a shame that this happened as the food that we did have was lovely (all seemed fresh and tasty)

Really nice budget hotel in a really pretty town. Perfect stop off point if you want to break up your journey from Calais to the south of France.

There was to nothing to complain about with the hotel. However we did have a problem with the automatic payment going through Booking.com. As Booking.com will not use two step authentication as required by Visa since March this year, banks will not authorise the payment. This happened to us a month ago and we lost our booking. This time we contacted the hotel and they kindly agreed to hold our booking. But we will be wary of using Booking.com again.

Less than 20 min to Troyes old town and cathedral. Nicely appointed rooms, air con, quiet and comfortable. Secure parking. Great breakfast.

Underground parking was tricky to find, although next door to the hotel, the sutomatic gate wasn't obvious. Quite a steep slope in and quite tight parking spaces for larger cars. The parking escalator required a door card to go up beyond the reception, but once booked in and room card sorted was no problem.

We had a good stay, the room was spacy and the hotel was at a parking distance. The hotel had a parking garage with one spot for charging an electric vehicle, we could leave the car there (for 10e) and hit the road fully charged in the morning. Good breakfast.

We could clearly hear discussions from nearby rooms, which made it difficult to sleep and the air conditioning machine was a bit noisy. The garage was a quite low, so the lid of our trunk hit a concrete bar in the ceiling (recommended the hotel to put some plastic bands on the bars to prevent damage on the cars paintwork)

Great place for a stopover heading from the South to Calais. It was exceptionally clean, easy to find and conveniently located. Room was a good size too with a balcony.

The carpark was a bit tight, and the only spaces left when we arrived were hard to park in. This isn’t really a complaint as it was helpful to have a carpark and we were able to leave our car there whilst we went and explored Troyes the next morning.
