Mercure Tours Centre Gare et Congres

Great location and easy to find. Great parking. Good size room and particularly liked the tea and coffee facilities.

Bar was limited. Lack of communication between staff meant I was asked to pay taxes twice - but it was sorted out efficiently.

We had a quick stay in Tours to see the Chateaus, and this hotel was very close to the train station and walking distance to where our tour was meeting. A nice good sized room, big bed and quiet despite being so close to the train station, and quite a lot of restaurants nearby, not just fast food eateries. We walked into town and around looking at the attractions, so well situated.

Location, only a 5-10 min walk from central train station and shopping area. Booked 2 rooms which turned out to be joining (which was a bonus), felt like having an apartment to ourselves.

Car parking was a little limited outside the hotel but managed to get a spot along the road, approx 3 mins walk away.

Very friendly staff, sofa bed was made available before we arrived. Excellent room service and very good breakfast, was very impressed that the children are even free for breakfast

Wi-Fi was not good, very very slow

We had a huge amount of space- we booked two interconnecting rooms for 5 people but ended up with a suite of three rooms. Great breakfast too.

It’s not in the greatest part of town but we knew that - it’s right near the train station

We had plenty of room (and bathrooms!) for us and the three children. The city center is just a short walk away.

The hotel is right next to the railway station, so it's a bit noisy, even at night.

We had three connecting rooms for a family of 6. Fit our group well...was great to have 3 bathrooms. Price comparable to an airbnb, so great value. Free parking. Easy walk to see old Town and sights (or to tram). Very friendly staff.

No air conditioner! We booked it because it mentioned that the AC was available but it was not. Our first room was too hot.

Breakfast was ok but overpriced.. Restaurant was closed but reception recommend a great restaurant within walking distance. Absolute nightmare trying to get into the carpark.

Very professional staff, comfortable mattress, two cups with tea samples and a boiler, a minibar and a closet with small kits for knitting and brushing shoes.

Only a few details, I may slightly be nitpicking but there was only one pointy towel holder in a two person's room. The tap of the shower was hard to maneuver, either the flow was too strong or too soft.
