Best Western Hotel Journel Saint-Laurent-du-Var

Spatious and comfortable private garage for travelling with bike holder. Very good acess to the bike roads and the train station if you want to go by bike anywhere and possibly come back by train (as we did to Cannes). We had a luck to have a quite spatious room with separate toilet and shower. The hotel was new and clean. There is a large shopping mall with a beach nearby, if you want to get some decently priced gifts or practically anything and also have a bath.

Comfortable family room. Very clean. Small, cozy atmosphere. The staff were lovely. Especially Rachid who really went above and beyond. We went to him with a problem (we’d forgotten to print out something we really needed). His response was “let’s not have problems, let’s have solutions”. He sorted us out with this and another issue regarding downloading an app for directions. Our day could have been a lot more problematic without him. He exudes positive energy! I liked the balcony and kitchenette in our room. It was really a very pleasant stay.

it’s further from the airport than I thought. we arrived late so it cost us 22 euro in Uber albeit half that in the morning.

Good location for the purpose of my visit. The room was attractive, with the bonus of an outside terrace. The staff were very helpful.

The only downside for me was the room seemed poorly sound-proofed. I could hear every conversation and even every cough from a guest in an adjacent room. As they could probably hear every sound from me, it felt uncomforably unprivate.

Clean, efficient. Helpful reception staff (we had to change rooms because of noise next door) Not located were we had expected but close enough to the harbour/marina and shopping center. Clean Underground car park with lift access.

No character. Terrible sound insulation between rooms (activities next door left little to imagination !) Obviously a cheaply built structure typical of its epoch. Bathroom design a bit odd.

The hotel and the rooms were clean and spacious. The balconies on the 5th floor open to magnificent views of the Alps' Mediterranean tip.

Location is close to the airport but this comes with considerable distance from actual Nice

It was a decent hotel. Good size room and clean. For us it was a plus that it had private parking.

Breakfast was bad. Not enough for everyone and looked cheap. Balcony door wasn't closing well, so we could hear the air coming all night. The room was a bit cold.

The hotel is pet friendly

The hotel could be more tidy, there were a lot of old stains on the carpet, there were some uncleaned stains on the door. Comfortable bed. Breakfast could be more varied. Be sure to keep the check and pay with the card for the hotel, as we were told on departure that they did not see our payment and if we had not had the check, I do not know how we would have proved

The staff for so welcoming and kind. Laurence and her team were kind enough to leave us a honeymoon gift in our room with a note which was so thoughtful! Lovely touch. The room was huge. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

The room smelled a little too strong of deodorizer

Very nice and clean hotel 🌞friendly staff (always with smile😊), fresh and nicely smelling towels and linens, air conditioning, lift, parking, location in the center

Breakfast was sufficient, nice coffee and sweet pastries, but baguettes were disaster every morning ( very hard)

Receptionists professional and welcoming. Good cleanliness

Breakfast not refilled for the last half-hour of opening hours. No spoons available, no staff around for breakfast.
