Hotel Ibis Budget Nice Palais Nikaia

You get what you pay for. In general I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel. We came a few minutes after standard check-in hours but there was no problem to check in and book a place in private parking. Rooms are OK - I would even say a bit larger than usually in Ibis Budget. Location is OK as well - far away from the City Centre but you can easily go there by tram that has a stop 5 minutes walking distance from hotel. Breakfest was tasty.

I believe thast Staff shall know English at least at basic level.

The hotel is sutuated at the last stop of tram 2. It's easy and quick to go to the city center and the port as that's the first stop of the tram. Easy access to the airport too.

Code is needed to open the room door and the front door of the hotel, which was a bit annoying. No soap in the bathroom to wash hands. Reception staff wasn't polite, while room cleaners are helpful. The TV service lagged all the time.

Every time I travel to Nice I stay at Ibis Budget Palais Nikaia. The hotels location is perfectly located for my further discovering of Provence and the Cote D Azur. Well maintained and clean.

Working in tourism and/ especially at a hotel, should absolutely demand from the receptionist to know at least basic English for a better understanding of the visitors questions if he has them.

the location was very good, with trams to the city centre about 5 minutes away from the hotel. it’s good especially if you go to a concert at Palais Nikaïa because it’s just in front of it.

the breakfast was good but not a lot of choice. some of the staff wasn’t very friendly and helpful.

room service very good, the staff very nice, even if we had a misunderstanding with the reservation, they help us to reserve the problem and all finish with a lovely holiday. The room is very nice and clean. thank you very much for everything!

Some staff are very nice.some of them are not.our aircon dizioner is not very good. The hotel ibis budget palais Nikaia no8.is far from the beach..

For me as a solo traveler that stayed 1 night while en route in the south of France, the hotel was really value for money and served its purpose. The staff at the reception was very friendly. The interior of the room was clean, simple, and functional. Wifi connection is great. Parking I could easily find in the street in front of the hotel.

Easy to check-in and check-out, good breakfast (7.5€), daily cleaning as expected, parking in a private garage (5€ a day)

The garage was dirty, the ATM was not working

Close to the airport and to the city center through tram lines. Even though it seemed understaffed, the personnel was very professional and kept the place clean and in order given the occasional rude guests.

Conveniently located near the Nice airport, this hotel was clean, and offered the amenities we needed for our last night's stay. On-site and on the street parking was easily available.

The area is a bit sketchy.
