Excellent location in a lively area but not noisy. The hotel room was pretty big, but the double bed were 2 single beds put together, which is never ideal because you can feel it. Shower gel and body milk were good too. We didn't have breakfast there, so can't comment on that.

The bathroom setup was a bit strange, with the glass shower door opening in a way that it was a bit more difficult to move around to get in the shower, but nothing major. The bathroom mirror also got loose from the sticky strips and closed (it was like a triptych), but we could stick it again and was fixed. The machine to pay by card wasn't working at reception when we arrived but luckily it was when we checked out, so we paid the tourist tax by card. We were there during a heatwave in September and we had to sleep with the AC on because it was too hot otherwise. Tiny lift, but it worked. Again, hard to move around it with the open door and the cleaning process going on in the narrow corridor and our suitcases, but it was ok. These are things that can be improved I think.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to a bus stop where you can get the C3 or C13 bus to Lyon Part Dieu rail station in 20 minutes. Good base for exploring along the river and old town. Lots of places at the doorstep to eat and drink and many shops nearby. Reception was very efficient and nice and let us leave bags there pre-check in. The room was a good size with a small desk, wardrobe and massive, comfortable, bed. Bathroom also good size. I particularly liked that shampoo, conditioner and soap was provided in refillable dispensers. Also liked the notes about suggesting you don't request daily cleaning and new towels for environmental reasons. There was AC which was a relief as it was blooming hot outside. Our window had a nice view of the cafe square below. We would stay here again.

Not a dislike as this is an old building but be warned that the lift is pretty small so you may need to wait a few journeys if you don't want to take the stairs. A small improvement in my opinion would be to not have disposable cups.

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and accommodating - particularly Fatima who went out of her way to help us when we needed to change rooms. The location is so central for restaurants and shops and walkable to all parts of the city. We never needed to use public transport. Rooms were well equipped and bright with lovely big windows. Some rooms are smaller then others depending on where they are located. There is a lift. Complimentary coffee and water available in reception at any time during the day.

Our initial room was very small but we were facilitated to change it - thanks so much Fatima. We didn't avail of the breakfast so can't comment. Great breakfast options located close by. If you left your windows open there was some noise early in the morning from the bin trucks - but no noise at night.

We needed a hotel in the heart of Lyon to attend a funeral. It was very easy to get to by bus from the train station and the staff were very helpful keeping our luggage after checkout for the day until we could come and collect it. It was nice to have complimentary coffee and water in the lobby. Our original room was too noisy and the manager organised a transfer to another room smoothly and quickly.

The carpet in the corridors is getting very threadbare and dusty. The floor in the breakfast room was a bit sticky.

The hotel is in an excellent position, just a few steps away from Vieux Lyon and ideal to explore the city. It is also in the immediate proximity of plenty of restaurants and cafes with excellent choices for lunch, dinner or a coffee break. It is wonderfully furnished, with beautifully designed rooms and bathrooms. I loved the fact that I also had a desk where I could use my laptop. The Internet connection was excellent. A coffee machine in the room was the absolute highlight of my stay. I enjoyed having coffee at the room. I had a wonderful view from my room. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was extremely dusty. The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, as I preferred sleeping in, but there are plenty of wonderful cafes near the hotel where one can have breakfast.

The only negative thing was the cleanliness of my bed - every movement brought a cloud of dust from the bed.

One of the cutest hotels I have ever stayed. The reception was warm and inviting. Girls at the front desk spoke fluent english and helped when we asked about attractions. When we arrived at the hotel, it was a bit early to check in, but they offered us to sit, leave our baggage by the reception and welcomed us with warm beverages and of course croissants (were free, and we enjoyed grabbing a cappuccino in the morning, and a cup of hot cocoa in the evening).

Everything went smoothly. Nothing to complain.

Comfy bed, great bathroom which was very clean, good amenities with the water and coffee machine in our room. Great location walking distance to everything in Lyon and close to public transport links. Many bars and restaurants close by with a good vibe. The staff especially Loan at the front desk was lovely when we arrived. The highlight was the gorgeous balcony that had a gorgeous view of Lyon and the basilica on the hilltop.

Gorgeus hotel, in a great location with easy and immediate access to restaurants and nice walks around the city center. The rooms have a lovely style and we really appreciated the vintage touches. Also, the personnel from the reception desk were really nice and helpful.

The room was more on the small side and the room door to the hallway is pretty thin, or at least it is not too much noise isolating as we could hear the other guest on the hallway even if they were almost wispering.

The room is very cosy, with a large comfortable bed. The decoration is especially charming, and of very good taste. This makes the stay in general very pleasant. Also, the location couldn't be better, within walking distance from all major highlights, that for our short stay came in very handy. Despite the noisy neighbourhood, the window's insulation proved to be very efficient.

The room lacked a mini-bar that could be very handy. Also, the card-key seemed to demagnetise for no apparent reason quite often, which causes the nuisance having to go back down to the reception. Wouldn't be a problem if it were sporadic, but happened 4 times with us within our 2 nights (or every single time we came back to our room).

loved the location, beside lots of restaurants, short walk from the old town, our room was directly opposite the Cathedral on the hill , lovely view of it lit up at night, nice little balcony to enjoy a drink in the unseasonably good weather which we were lucky to enjoy, comfortable bed , helpful staff, especially Rose on reception , who was super helpful in giving us advice, directions etc.
