Desert Rose Resort

Best holiday ever, I can't wait to book our next vacation to the Desert Rose Resort. Any photo can not justify the beauty of this place, the luscious, green landscape is breathtaking with arched breezeways, Bougainvillea flowers come in a variety of colors - pink, purple, orange, yellow, white, magenta -, date-palm-lined thoroughfares, cacti, olive trees, fig-trees, flowers, and 3 shimmering blue pools. There is a snorkel-able house-coral-reef with the wonders of the Red Sea, many species are represented here, but the most frequently spotted on the reef are surgeonfish, bullethead parrotfish etc. The protected house-lagoon is surrounded by a 1-kilometer sandy beach, providing a safe environment for children and non-swimmers too. Service is top-notch from the front desk to housekeeping ( thanks to Mostafa Ali :) ). The staff offers impeccable, welcoming, and genuine service, everyone appears knowledgeable and personable and seems to find joy in their work. All meals at this resort were incredible and always fresh. At the main Palm Restaurant, you can choose Arabic-, European-, Asian-, and American-tasting food, fruits, and cakes as well as a fusion option with selections from each. The chefs are highly skilled and put out a wide range of delicious and eye-pleasing dishes. The highlight of our stay at Desert Rose was my daughter's romantic birthday dinner at Il Delfino Restaurant. Having the birthday dinner under a private tent on the beach, while adoring the magnificent views, watching the sun changing from orange-yellow to flamboyant pink and the shades of the sea was a perfect start to the celebration. I can not say enough thanks to the manager and the staff of Il Delfino, their helpful, kind, loving attitude and the truly extraordinary seafood, the beautifully decorated birthday cake, and the 'Happy Birthday' song both in English and Arabic made our experience otherworldly.

Friendly staff, including bartenders, top-level service, daily housekeeping, clean pools and the entire territory. The administration worries about your satisfaction and really does a lot for this - they get into your situation, make compromises and exceptions for their guests. We are very, very satisfied and grateful for their care! Our flight was delayed for 14 hours and we were forced to come back to the hotel for the day, administration provide to us all facilities (of course without the room) and we spent lovely time in pleasent conditions there while waiting the flight - pool, towels, food and bevereges, luggege keeping. Thank you for this!!! The food is excellent - chicken, beef, fish, grilled shrimps, national dishes, many desserts, fruits, vegetables, wine and delicious coffee, 3 free restoraunts. Wonderful coral reef on the beach of the hotel with a sandy bottom.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Desert Rose Resort in Hurghada, Egypt, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly receptionist, setting the tone for a memorable experience. The resort's pristine cleanliness left a lasting impression on me. Everywhere I went, from the lobby to the dining areas and my room, everything was impeccably maintained. The attention to detail showcased the management's commitment to providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests. A special note of appreciation goes to Mr Emad Himdan, Mr. Mohamed Saad, Mr. Sherif Abdelmoneim and Mr. Samuel Youssef for their extraordinary patience and assistance in resolving a reservation issue. Their calming demeanor and genuine care put me at ease, turning a potential hiccup into a smooth experience. Speaking of the dining experience, I cannot praise the food quality enough! The buffet spread was extensive, and the a la carte options were equally impressive. Kudos to the talented chefs who consistently delivered top-notch cuisine. One aspect that truly set this resort apart was the warm and attentive guest relations team, specially, Ms. Lucia Iannuzzi. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a fantastic stay. A heartfelt thank you must also be extended to the restaurants manager, Mr. Milad, and his exceptional team. Their professionalism and dedication were evident in every interaction. They took the time to ensure each guest's dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and their seamless service and warm atmosphere in the dining areas were simply outstanding. Additionally, I must express my gratitude to Mr. Haitham Ghonaim, Mostafa Mohamed, and Mohamed Gamal from the Mexican restaurant for their attentive and courteous service. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Rooms at block 3000 were old and needs renovation to be similar to rooms at block 4000. There are variety of food choices but you have to pick the fresh and well cooked one because three of my family group suffered from diarrhea and started vomiting last day of our stay, And to be honest when we asked for the clinic the doctor was available and started intravenous treatment for the one who needed it.

A beautiful resort, with lovely gardens, and many flowers. Big reception with always a lot of staff, all very helpful. The rooms were big and comfortable, quiet and the view from building 8000 was to the beach. The bed was really comfortable, we had great nights of sleep. Also a big bathroom with a few toiletries (these could be improved). The resort is huge, be prepared to walk around, many swimming pools, all cleaned and a fun water park. The spa facilities are great, I recommend a massage there (at extra cost obv.) The staff was always friendly and attentive. The food was good and the breakfast pastries really delicious. The beach is big and there are always sun beds available, beach staff is also great, and fresh clean towels are always at hand. The man-made beach is quiet with few fishes but you also have a sea beach with corals and beautiful fishes to see, we had an amazing time snorkeling. Beware of stone fishes, always use water shoes!

There was no Wi-Fi connection in the bedrooms and even in the lobby/bars, the connection was too weak. An improvement suggestion, if possible to try to have designated smoking areas at the main restaurant, we ended up with people smoking near us at all meals, that's not pleasant at all. Another suggestion, try to avoid single-use plastic cups, especially at the beach bar to get water, many of those cups are ending up at the sea, I saw more than a dozen of them while snorkeling :(

Upgraded room-early check in-late check out without extra fees due to availability were very appreciated. Beach, Pools, restaurant staff, meals Variety and the amazing Aqua. Quality of cleaning for rooms and merging 2 single beds into 1 big queen size is amazingly done without noticing the separation at all. Restaurant timings are amazing - almost all day on. Fried Fish - Grilled Meat - omelets are outstanding.

beach/pool close by 6:00pm while sunset was 7:20pm room furniture is woody and old. food taste for most dishes is avg. public restrooms are smelly with poor lights -but we were in very busy days-

It's not my first visit and it will not be the last ,the resort reached to delighters services by continuous improvement, it is improving each time and become better and better, - from first step in the resort everything went be more than i expected, reception team are very professional i made fastest chick-in in all my trips. - Taste and quality of food and beverage in Palm and a la carte restaurants was amazing, staff are very professional and helpful, I would like to thanks Mr. Sherif Abdelmonem D.F.B, and Mahmoud Abd Samad in Palm Restaurant ,Mr. Melad salama, Sayed Osman, Mohamed Gamal, Mustafa, chef Ahmed and chef Sayed in Fatoosh restaurant, Adel In IL Delfino restaurant and all stuff in Ranchero restaurant. - stuff in the room service provide a premium service specials thanks for Mr. Arafat Asst. manager, yasser abdel megged and waled Adel for your huge effort to make everything shining. - Luciana in guest Relation team she is very cooperative and facilitated all my requirements.

- the resort is very crowded but that doesn't effect on the high level of services. - the distance between facilities are very far so i recommend to provide a golf cars to transferring the guests from place to another. -

From the reception area you will feel the differences as you have been transferred to the vacation mode :), staff is very descent excluding a single case i faced the day we arrived as one of the pool staff was very rude telling me its "prohibited" to have snacks on the pool side (children were eating snacks because we missed the lunch time), any way my accommodation was twin rooms garden view and the view was nice and room condition almost refurbished although AC blower noise at night(it was fixed during the stay) , children had a lot of fun at the aqua park and it was suitable for them (9 years old) me my wife as well, snorkeling area is is beautiful the lagoon beach is very nice for adults chilling and children play as well , bars serve lot of drinks and snacks i liked the iced coffee from it, also i was astonished by a call from the Mexican Restaurant Manager Mr. Haitham Ghoniem asking me about the stay and our feedback and invited me for a great dinner best we had during the stay, the restaurant design, serving and food quality were great experience to have, room service quality was nice and even one of the staff i met and was responsible for our floor Mr. Ahmed Eiwes very descent and professional guy, Main restaurant serving area and out door tables support safe space distances and was very important for us to avoid crowding

Main Restaurant varieties day to day is low Restaurant serving spoons are touchable by all guests, you can forget to sanitize your hands before eating snorkeling area is not supported by life guards

Beach is very far from the rooms, The available juices in the restaurant are made from powder (accordingly i didn't drink it at all), I understand that it will be costly to have it fresh but at least it can be bottled one.

it is great place for family relaxation.. Great location, staff, facilities, food, service, security special thnx to dupty manager, security manager and receipt team who helped to find lost items in very short time

it seems the hotel accepts low-budget /volume groups guests which load the facilities and creat uncomfortable atmosphere specially at the restaurants and pools
