Staybridge Suites & Apartments - Citystars, an IHG Hotel

The property had a decent breakfast - enough to hold you down for the day. The traffic outside was pretty noisy especially at the weekend but it was quieted quickly. The best part of the hotel was the access to the mall without having to go through the busy street. Very close to the airport with good security. I traveled with my mother and we felt safe here. There was a free laundry if you have detergent or you can purchase from the store. The bed was comfortable and temperature good. The refrigerator never seemed to get that cold and there were some minor issues but overall we had a lovely stay and would come back.

This is my 2nd stay this year. I really loved the warmth of all staff members especially Ali, Mina and Sara at the frontdesk. The location is something I can't get over as within a few meters walk I'm inside the mall. Everything is super secure. The honestly and credibility of cleaning staff and security is beyond description from personal experience!! The indivdual kitchen facility and basement laundry are a great advantage especially when travelling with kids. The view is lovely especially when booking higher floors. There is 3 days free dinner at night. The breakfast has a good variety : cereals, egg station, pastries, fruits, fresh juices, yougurts, bpiled eggs colds, beans, hotdogs, foul, colds cuts, cheeses and salads in addition to coffee machines are available.😄 I extremely loved it and will definately return whenever I'm in Cairo.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times especially Mina and Ali at the reception. The lady supervisor at breakfast was extra pleasant. The amazing location, you literally go to.lrvel -1 walk 6 meters in the inside parking and you're inside Citystar mall! Very safe and secure with my 7 and 8 year old boys. Very spacious rooms with open view, lovely bathrooms and well equipped kitchen that includes even a dishwasher. The beds were super comfy too. The extra bonus was to be allowed to carry your tray full of food up to your room in addition free dinner 3 days per week ( Mon, Tues and Wed).Will definately come back evertime I'm in Cairo😍

The lack of a washing machine esp when you have kids.

I like everything about the property. The property is immaculately clean and everything is up to date. All of the furniture and appliances are clean and not old. The staff at the front reception are five star- especially Mohamed Abdullah who paid attention to every detail and met all my needs. The staff are keen to help in every way possible with a smile on their face. Truly a welcoming, safe and clean hotel. I would recommend to anyone.

Staff from reception to room cleaning and restaurant. Abdulrahman, Thamer helped us with luggage with big smile. Mahmood nice attitude fixed my broken bag refusing to take any tip...much appreciated. Convenient location to markets and other locations.

toilets need upgrade and dust on walls

Check in was seamless. Very friendly & helpful staff, Sara & Shady (both in reception) were exceptional. Stayed in a 3 bedroom penthouse - clean, comfy, spacious. functional, decent kitchenette & 3 en-suites. Breakfast more than adequate. Complimentary dinner M-W is a very generous gesture. Direct access to City Stars (a top class mall) is very convenient. Overall service was very good.

A real pity that the furniture is old & ugly looking & of a very average quality. Entire unit is not aesthetically pleasing. Urgently needs an upgrade. Has the potential to become a good quality apartment hotel. Near the airport but far from most Cairo attractions.

We had a wonderful 4 days stay in the suite. The staff was helpful and friendly. The suite and hotel itself is so tidy and clean, including a washing machine area, gym, restaurant, SPA, children’s area! Service and great value. Connected directly to the Citystars Heliopolis shopping mall. Would definitely visit again.

everything was great from our arrival until we checked out. It is 15-20 mins by car away from Cairo international airport and connected to city stars shopping mall , so the location couldn't be any better. we arrived 3 hours early before check-in time and they checked us in our one-bedroom suite right away without even asking, they also called to check on our departure flight and put a note that we will check-out one hour late so we wont be disturbed. all the staff were wearing face masks and hand sanitizer/s stations were everywhere. floor -1 had washing machines and dryers free of charge you just need to buy the detergent, its also where you could access the mall. Cleaning was good even if there was a problem at the beginning it was sorted right away. Free Wi-Fi access in all areas for all guests and the connection was great, they also included ethernet cable in case you prefer direct connection. The apartment was specious , roomy and comfy, extra pillows and blankets were supplied upon request, it was a bit cold and AC controller was fixed on cooling and they changed the controller to be both heating and cooling upon request right away. the kitchen is well equipped but we only used the fridge, dish soup and dish washer pod were supplied although a small sponge would be great to wash up the mugs. Breakfast was included in the rate and there is a tray supplied in the room, you could take it down and pick up what you want and have your breakfast back in the room, we were only having fresh fruits so we needed to go down early as they don't refill the baskets once the fruits are gone. There were 2 balconies but there were safety locks as we were in floor 12 so we could only slide the door open for 10 cm to freshen the air. I can’t really fault anything the stay and the staff were all amazing. we will definitely stay here again next time we visit Cairo

The Location & room. It is attached to a big mall through indoors. Abdul Rahman the reception manager was great.

At check in they mixed up my paid booking.com reservation with a cancelled booking and ask me to pay, after 20 minutes the matter was fixed.

Everyone there was super nice. For example, we had to leave half a day earlier than the check out (we had a plane to catch), and the receptionist offered to inquire with the duty manager whether we could get back some of the amount we paid for that night. He did and the manager agreed to reduce the rent to half! It was a nice gesture. While the suite we rented was a bit expensive, the extra services the hotel provides compensate for that; they include free coffee from a proper coffee machine and (free) dinner three days a week.

The suite we got needed minor maintenance, i.e., the shower hose was leaking and the door of one of the bathrooms was difficult to lock. Still, this did not spoil our stay.
