Holiday Inn Citystars, an IHG Hotel

I was really surprised by the quality, cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. The access to the intercontinental hotel facilities next door was unbeatable. It was like I was staying in a gigantic hotel with all amenities. Excellent. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Very thoughtfully selected and well laid out. No complaints at all. I would stay in this property again.

Would have been great if I had a mini fridge in the room and also missing was room service.

The location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants in the hotel and the hotel is connected with the city star mall and you can find many restaurants and ifbyou are interesting with shopping you find many of brand shops in the city star mall.

The windo not soundproof, and you can hear noise (cars and people walking in the street)from the street.

I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Citystars. I had to work remotely for a couple of days and wifi was excellent all the time. I never had connection problems. Rooms and common areas were always clean. Variety of options during the breakfast, the hotel has a travel agency and cash machines. I always felt very safe. I needed a COVID-19 PCR test before traveling back home and the hotel provided me the service. Considering Cairo international airport, the hotel location is very convenient. Also, it has direct connection to a big shopping center were you can find variety of shops and restaurants. Staff was always very friendly and willing to help. I’ll stay here again if I go back to Cairo.

Location is very convenient for airport purposes but a bit far of the city center. Prices are high.

Holiday Inn Staff...are very friendly and extremely polite (starting from the reception, the room service, the house keeping, the restaurants....) Security guys (they are not Holiday Inn employee) are cheap and always asking cheaply for tips. Guest relations...specially Mrs Salma is wonderful. She made our stay super nice. I would also like to thank Mr. Fadi at the reception who did help us very well too. the room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is very generous and clean. A true 5 stars hotel indeed. The location!!! Brilliant. Almost inside City Stars, the best shopping mall in Cairo. How convenient. It was really great. We've decided that this will be our usual destination when we visit cairo.

Breakfast is limited somehow. And due to the Covid-19 it is more limited. Did not like the process of having watres to scoop the food for you...I preferred I get my own food in an open-buffet breakfast.

Clean, rooms were spacious and next to a great shopping mall. Food (Breakfast) was average but well served. Mina from the reception helped in finding my reservation on booking and complemented me with rooms upgrade.

Booking.com system had an issue at the hotel and they couldn’t confirm my reservation using my booking.com reference number and took a while (close to 30 minutes) till I was able to check in.

Many things I liked about this place, its location, adjacent to a big nice mall where I can find anything I need. The staff were super nice and always available to response swiftly. Big thanks to Holiday Inn and its wonderful staff :) , more specifically I can say Ms. Mennatallah, she was super nice and helpful, her advices made my stay more comfortable. Looking forward to come again.

When I first arrived in the room, there was a smell of paint that gave me a headache. I was promised to change the room, but it was not done. After that, it seems that I adapted to the smell.

We are each year at least 2times in this hotel and we like to stay there - but the new coffee machine in the Restaurant was not a good investment...either not working at all or bad and it looks like staff didn't get a proper training how to handle

The Location was great. Quick access to the mall for food and shopping. The rooms were spacious and clean

I had a room on the 2nd floor, every evening there is a musician who plays at the restaurant downstairs from 10 pm to 2pm, this made if very difficult/impossible to sleep.
