Le Meridien Lav Split

there are two beaches at the hotel, one more quiet while the other has a beach club vibe with music, low key in the morning and the sound a bit louder in the afternoon. Nice cocktails offered by waiters on the beach. There are several restaurants to choose from. Our favorite was Conlemanii. We had a little dog with us and there was no issue to go around with the dog. There is also a little dog park right on the property. Overall it is unpretentious and a truly nice place to stay.

A little hideaway outside of Split... and pretty self contained. Staff were helpful, and the room was comfortable. The view of the sunset over the marina was pretty special. Did feel a little like a spot of paradise with either the pool of the sand and sea as options. Glad I stayed.

Drinks and food felt overpriced - given the lack of other options in the area... and it is a shame that water is not priced appropriately. Also no pool service - as such a small area, would have been nice to have someone come and ask - which is a little detail I enjoy about highly rated hotels.

Incredible views, beautiful beaches, beach club is great and very lively, gym is very well equipped which is a rare find. Staff at the Spa, marina restaurants and sports bar all very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast experience is the best we've had at a hotel.

Some staff behind reception counter are more interested in chatting amongst themselves or playing on their phones as opposed to helping customers and greeting them with a smile. No espresso machine in the room, but when you look at the view you just forget about the lack of coffee machine

Beach with great quality , and swimming pool nice. Room size, balcony, All very clean, staff very attentive. Gym nice and clean

Location: its not in Split but in Podstrana, you need to take a taxi to Split or a bus which is inconvenient. Restaurants and food inside hotel: very poor variety/ offer, very expensive for its quality. Sunbeds and spaces: if you do not wake up before 7 and reserve with towel... you have no space for the rest of the day. Very difficult to get a sunbed after 8 am, people reserve them all extremely early and despite warning of towels will be removed after 45 min if nobody appears that does not happen.

The hotel looks captivating when you first see it and enter the lobby, it shows quality and style. The beach, which was the number one priority for us, is great - the sea is amazing (no need to wear sandals in the water) - the beach staff speak very good English and they are very helpful - sun beds/umbrellas are always available The hotel is clean The staff is very helpful and polite

The clean towels at the beach were not always available at the same time, often we had to wait or come back later (on some days I could get them at 8:00 on other days only 8:30) - if they say that the beach is open from 7:00 am, towels should be available from that time Breakfast is good but in our view it is not quite 5* quality and variety The carpet on the corridor in front of our room was really worn / dirty The hotel restaurants were overbooked and super expensive, there were very limited other options nearby for dining or lunch

Great beach location. Tried to order room service the first night. After two hours we called back 10pm. They lost our order had a very lame excuse regarding lot of orders. Front desk staff told us we needed reservation for dinner. Made reservation desk staff did not send it to the restaurant. Breakfast must have been included with every room it was very crowded. No coffee service in the room.

There’s a good range of restaurant options, each with a different feel which is great. The private beach is a real plus and the real gem, especially the bit by the marina which is called Gooshter beach club which has a more vibey atmosphere (without being loud/full on day rave) and caters more to the adult crowd. The concierge was very helpful and booked a half day 3 islands tour for us, cutting through all the noise on the internet (too many options, had decision fatigue!). Location is also actually perfect: 20 min or so into Split in an Uber so very easy to head in to wander around or for a meal (which we did do) and then retreat to the calm of the private beach. Malin + Goetz products in the bathroom are a nice touch.

If you opt for a premium sea view room, try to ask for one overlooking the marina side of the resort for unadulterated sea views. We had a premium sea view room which had a view of the sea but where it was located meant it also overlooked a lot of internal roads of the resort. There’s room for improvement with the cocktails, nothing we tried was executed with the level of sophistication and skill you’d expect from a resort at this end of the market…!

hard to find fault but Expensive food and drinks should be less tourist prices, pool should separate adult only pool and larger one to be in line with decor and 5 star should have more buzzy evening entertainment vibe it’s a bit low key quiet bar music

I liked walk by the beach, size of the room, gym, welcome attitude of the staff, wi-fi working perfectly.

If you are late for breakfast you might face lack of options, which should not happen in a 5 star hotel, because the replenishment is slow. I expected from the pictures the indoor pool to be bigger.

It was lovely

Too many people in the pool and the buffet restaurant. The all inclusive guests got better use of everything, felt intimidated by this when We we’re full paying?? One of your restaurants disappointed us on our last night. Please contact me about this
