Newly renovated motel. One of the owners greeted me at my car as I checked in and was extremely welcoming. It's nice to see the effort that's being put in to renovate an older motel in a great location on highway 7! I will stay again!
The renovations just aren't quite done yet. I'm sure I'll give a higher rating after I stay next time and the final touches have been put on.

The motels rooms are for sure updated to fit everyone’s needs! We loved having the option of the oven if needed, and having the kitchenette was amazing especially with young kids!
We had a great stay, although the central air was a tad hot in our room, a quick call to the owner (who answered his phone right away!) was able to give us all advice needed in order to make our room comfortable!

After reading negative reviews (post booking) we were pleasantly surprised none of the issues was present. The suite was newly renovated, modern, clean, with all possible appliances
Just a couple of minor inconveniences: there were no glasses and the water had to be run for quite a while to get warm (like a few minutes).

The location, the facilities (you have everything you need), restaurants close as well. The room is brand new and very comfortable. And the staff is really nice.

I really liked the modern renovations. The fire pitts in the back were a lovely addition. The owner was really nice and did his best to accommodate us. The staff on-site were great!
There were some things that could still use some improvements 1. We had 2 double beds, one was just mattresses on the floor, no bed frame. 2. The light switch for the bathroom gets hidden behind the sliding barn door so you have to close the door to put the light on 3. Bathroom door in room 4 does not stay closed, the track for the door is slanted so it just rolls open 4. Wash cloths were not available 5. Dishwasher in room but no soap 6. Big gap between the bottom of the door and the floor that you have to put a towel in front of to keep critters out and any inclement weather 7. No lamp in room so you have to turn on the main light all the time
