Sandman Signature St. John's Hotel

We stayed 1 night in the King Suite with kitchen was perfect for us and our toddler who enjoyed running in circles to each room. Everything was nice and clean. The kitchen was outfitted with everything, stove, dishes, pans, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ect During the evening we moved the fancy marble end table for snacks for our child, when it was time to move it back for the night the top slipped off and broke onto the floor, I PANICKED so I went up to tell the front desk and Reggie was so nice and genuinely concerned if anyone was hurt and assured me no charge for it was an accident, super nice and handled professionally!! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud.. 10/10 recommend

Lobby was bright and airy, lots of comfortable seating and accessible from both sides of the building. Lots of parking. Everything very clean. Rooms comfortable, clean and reasonably modern. Restaurant attached open for late arrivers and early risers.

With the hotel itself no complaints. Very busy 4-6 lane street so can be a challenge turning across to enter or exit hotel parking. Drive to any major attractions. Lots of stores restaurants etc in area but most on opposite side and no crosswalks to cross.

I liked the decor, it felt modern and classy. The bed was super comfortable, which is very important to me. I appreciated the lighting in the room - there were ceiling lights and I didn't have to run around the room turning on all the lamps. I found the tv/cable more user friendly than other hotels I've stayed in. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly beyond normal expectations but it felt genuine, not at all obnoxious. The location was great and easily accessed by car. Lots of parking spots.

My only complaint is that I'm not a fan of rainshower heads so I wish there was an alternative but that is a super minor thing.

Great location with restaurants all around, and for all hours :) lots of parking available, super friendly staff, well appointed, spacious room, with ac that worked! I can't say enough great things about this hotel! I had an absolutely wonderful stay there

That poor broken elevator.. I felt bad for the staff, it was a very busy weekend to be down a lift ... But these things happen, I just took the stairs

Location was awesome and convenient. Quiet at night. Restaurants was nearby.

Elevators were really slow or not working. Would have been nice to have a small breakfast included. Had to go to the another floor for ice. Sofa bed was uncomfortable for my daughter. We booked online but wished I had called to book reservation so that I could have gotten my Government rate which could not be used upon checkout.

The reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had made two separate reservations one on the Saturday night and one for the Sunday night (2 different rooms). When we arrived on the Saturday we asked if we could just do the 2 nights in the same room rather then changing rooms and reception said that it would be fine for us to stay in the one room for the two nights. Location was great for breakfast and dining.

we ended up getting woken up by a phone call to our room mistaking us for someone else extremely early in the morning, and house keeping knocked on the door 3 times almost 2 hours before we were supposed to check out asking if we were leaving yet because he wanted to clean our room. understandable they have to clean our room but we should be able to stay until our check out time!

Great looking hotel, never have to leave the hotel to enjoy your stay. Restaurant and bar onsite (Moxies) and a Denny's for fast food/breakfast. Swimming pool, hot tub, gym. Place has everything for a staycation!

Location is somewhat lacking, but if you don't want to leave (place has everything) then it's not a big deal. There's shopping nearby, a bit of a walk if not driving.

Beautiful, clean, and amazingly friendly staff.

The only problem we had during our stay was with the pool area. A group of boys 11-12 were left unsupervised in the pool area for the duration of our time there. Our time there had to be cut short because the fumes from the chlorine was burning our eyes. You could smell it all over the first floor and inside the pool area was unbearable.

The room set up was good and the kitchen was very convenient. The restaurants in the hotel are open late (Denny's at midnight and Moxie's at 1:00am?) which was wonderful. We arrived just before 10 and discovered most places to order food were closed. We had room service from both Denny's and Moxie's during our stay and the food was great!
