Fairfield by Marriott Edmonton International Airport

This was a late overnight stay, next morning on to Jasper. Family of 4. Buffet breakfast a requirement, 3 beds requirement (adult children will not sleep with us), near Airport, near COSTCO for morning purchases for vacation. This was a "crash" stop to begin our vacation. All needs met. Did not go into Edmonton. Free parking. Late arrival. Everything just right. Room very comfortable. No complaints. Would do this again. Important thing is buffet breakfast. Did not have to go out, saves a lot of time, and the food was good.

I love Marriott for their modern and clean hotels. I know I’ll have a good nights sleep as the beds are comfortable and clean. The gym had everything you need and the breakfast is included and had lots of choices.

I had called ahead to check about parking a truck with a boat attached, I was assured there would be parking for me and there was not proper trailer parking. I would stay here again but never if I have a trailer again. I was able to park but it was a very high degree of difficulty that I was trying to avoid and could’ve caused me to not be able to stay there if it was any busier.

The hotel was ok. The lobby is pretty good it’s clean and it’s relaxing to watch. The first room they put as in was not pleasing, the washroom was stinky I ask for them to refresh which they did but eventually the smell didn’t go away and I found out it was the drain pipes underneath the sink,it is broken which cause the bad smell. So they move us to another room which is pretty fair and from there our stay went well. Pool is just a fair size the hot tub is relaxing. The breakfast is simple nothing special.

showers were spacious, water pressure was good, breakfast was included (standard breakfast with eggs, bread, yogurt, etc). very comfortable stay and very spacious if you have lots of baggage. Staff was friendly.

Road construction blocks off one of the entrances and the other entrance is available but requires you to drive between some signage (during my stay in early June 2023). Not a complaint to the hotel but something that may be informative for anyone looking to visit in the near future.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. Staff were friendly and nice. Decent hotel breakfast. the shuttle service to and from the airport was a life saver.

The supper at the restaurant downstairs wasn’t the greatest. The food was sub par. But it also could be as they seemed under staffed. One lady was running around being the only server around. And one guy at the back seemed to do all the cooking.

The lobby was clean and inviting and the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and courteous. Our room was lovely and had a nice view of the sunset and of some of the planes from the airport. Usually I don’t get proper sleep in hotels because of the pillows and it’s very rare that we could find a hotel that had comfortable ones - Fairfield was one of those hotel. The room had everything we needed during our stay - it has a microwave and a small fridge and anything else we needed we could ask from the front desk. There was also free breakfast.

The pool was out of order when we went there but that’s totally understandable, not enough to ruin our stay.

This place is great. 5-10 minute shuttle from the airport and the shuttle is free, we just went out of the door and hopped in one and the hotel called for pick up when we wanted to leave. Staff we amazing and helpful, they were able to accommodate us when our plans kept changing due to our airline, and they stored our bags for us. The room was big and very comfortable, shower was great and it was all very clean, bed was very comfy and TV was big, so was the window. Food was served at the restaurant until ten which was later than other places locally. Also near the outlet mall if you want to kill a few hours wandering around and there are a couple of restaurants near by. Pool was nice.

Pool was broken when we arrived which was a shame, it got fixed but we only found out at 9pm. Otherwise great!

The hotel room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Considering that it is located about 1.5 km from the Edmonton International Airport, in close proximity to mall shopping and virtually across the street from Costco it is an excellent location and good value for the money. They also have long term parking and shuttles running every half an hour for the convenience of travelers. Breakfast has a fairly large choice of hot and cold offerings.

No complaints

Very close to the airport with an option to take a shuttle or a taxi. There is a restaurant and store on site. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. I was able to leave my vehicle parked at the hotel for a small fee. The rooms are very clean and modern, the only thing I wish they would change are the pillows on the bed. They are too small and soft making it difficult to get comfortable. Having plugins on the nightstand for phone charging would be handy as well.

I received a very nice boxed lunch breakfast to take on the shuttle for the airport.

when i arrived at your hotel i asked for a wake up call for 3:20 AM and was told of course no problem. however I NEVER RECEIVED THE WAKE UP CALL >TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I was lucky and just happened to wake up in time to catch my flight. I spoke with the people at the front desk and was told they just forgot and didn't really seem to care. AGAIN TOTALLY UNACCEPTABBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .
