Memoire Palace Resort & Spa

Above all else, the team at the resort embraced me with open arms, their warmth and dedication leaving an indelible mark on my experience. From the amiable front desk attendants to the industrious housekeeping crew, their heartfelt commitment infused a welcoming and cozy ambience into every moment of my stay. The haven of opulence that is Memoire Palace unfolded before me. Within its walls, my room emerged as a sanctuary of grace and refinement, adorned with tasteful embellishments and graced with contemporary conveniences. The lavish bed, adorned with sheets of utmost luxury, and the awe-inspiring vistas visible from the balcony conspired to make leaving the room an arduous task each morning. The meticulous attention poured into every facet of the room's design managed to not only meet but surpass my loftiest expectations. In retrospect, it was the human touch intertwined with the lavish setting that truly painted my stay at the resort in the most vibrant of colors.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff are so welcoming, they can’t do enough for you. The rooms are gorgeous, we got upgraded to a pool view villa, it was spacious, lovely to have bath, really relaxing. The pools and gardens are beautiful, really comfy sun beds and just helped yourself to beach towels. Lots of choice at breakfast time, the juices were gorgeous. I would absolutely stay here again.

No bars or restaurants nearby, quite a walk to Pub Street but no more than £2 in a Grab and tuk tuk home at end of night. The hairdryer was hard to use and kept popping out of the socket.

It is beautiful! The staff are all extremely nice and accommodating especially in the restaurant where I had paid for full board, and they adjusted their set menus for my food allergies. Somaly from the restaurant, went above and beyond and has a lovely personality. As someone who was travelling alone, and eating alone, she gave me her time and I enjoyed our conversations and jokes. It made me feel like I was having dinner with a friend, rather than on my own. I got a massage at the resort spa, and it was exactly what I needed after a long day of visiting temples in very hot weather, and travelling up and down stairs and from lack of exercise, was quite sore the next day. But totally worth it, and would go back in a heart beat. Everyone I meet, whether it be the front desk, cleaners, grounds keepers or wherever, the staff were extremely polity and friendly and very helpful. I would recommend anyone stay there and also eat at the restaurant, moving it up with nights in the city.

There is nothing bad to say. If anything, as a female travelling alone, I would have loved it to be a little closer to the city, but on the other hand, being further away helped me stay away from all the shops, of which I only needed a couple of goes to spend all my money anyway :)

All the staff in the hotel are very friendly. It did not matter who you meet; the reception staff, the servers at the restaurant, the pool staff, the housekeeping staff, or the landscaper staff, every one is very friendly and helpful. Mr. Lin, the person at the reception, welcomed us when we arrived at the hotel. He checked-us in and brought us to our room and explained the facilities available in there. Throughout our 7-day stay there, he and his crew answered all the questions we had and displayed the upmost professionalism in carrying out their duties. THANK YOU MR. LIN AND THE RECEPTION CREW FOR EVERYTHING. Mr. Hak, person-in-charge of the restaurant at the hotel is another fine example of what it means to provide 5-star service to his customers. He would greet us with a smile as he ushered us to our table. He and his staff must be commanded for their attentiveness, friendliness, and diligence in ensuring that customers requests (i.e. in getting them their coffee or tea) are met. I am lactose intolerant and had requested for soy milk when we patronized the restaurant the next morning for our breakfast. Mr. Hak remembered that and for the next 7 days, soy milk was brought to the table every morning the moment we sat down. THANK YOU MR. HAK AND YOUR SERVICE CREW FOR MAKING OUR BREAKFAST SO MEMORABLE.

One of the reasons for choosing the hotel is because of the huge swimming pool. My husband and I are avid swimmers. (By the way, we found out that the pool is 71-meter in length. TQ Mr. Lin for getting the info for us). But unfortunately, the water is very cold so we could not swim in the mornings. And even in the evenings, the temperature of the water did not improve. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A HEATED POOL. :)

The rooms were excellent. We had pool view rooms - sheets were wonderfully thick and pristine, very roomy, elegant and very clean. Bathroom was enormous with a bath, separate shower area and double sink vanity. The breakfast was varied and the staff very attentive. It had a nice mix of western-type breakfast offering and local Cambodian soups and noodles. The coffee was actually really really good instead of the often watered down filtered coffee one gets as such spreads. We cannot say enough about the staff - The front desk staff - Soriya - in particular - but really everyone at all hours of the day really went out of their way to help us making bookings, with suggestions, and just greeting us warmly after a hot day out exploring. Because the hotel doesn't have secure wifi, one of the staff, Sam, even helped me out by allowing me to using his personal hotspot when I needed a secure connection. Truly excellent and above and beyond the call of duty!

Well, this really didn't have much to do with the hotel itself but just with where we were - lots of flies, even at breakfast, and the mozzies were everywhere. Bring your own insect repellant! The location wasn't perfect - a bit too far to walk to and from the main areas - but they always got us a tuk tuk driver from the hotel who was familiar to them - we in fact had the same one for the whole time we were there - and he was wonderful. We could arrange for him to come to pick us up at any time and from anywhere.

The staff at the hotel especially Samontha, Soriya and Chiaya at reception were excellent, outstanding customer service. Even the restaurant staff were outstanding. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with great variety The hotel facilities were excellent very clean, with beautiful gardens and natural vegetation, felt like back in nature. The staff were always very courteous, helpful and made out stay memorable. We will definitely visit Seam Reap again and stay at Memoire Palace Resort and Spa hotel. Even though they are located a bit away from the main city area, the tuktuks are cheap and staff helped us get them.

Nothing was bad, everything was well maintained, clean and staff were all outstanding.

EVERYTHING! Literally cannot fault the hotel. Beautiful rooms and pool area. Exceptional staff who go through extra mile. Everyday you are greeted with smiles and good morning/ hellos and you are made to feel really special. The hotel was amazing at organising trips to Angkor Wat and the Cambodian Circus, sorting tickets and tuk tuks. They made my trip to relaxing and stress free. Great selection at breakfast and all food was delicious!! One of the best hotel gyms I’ve been to and the spa facilities were great! I’d highly recommend a massage as it was also one of the best! I couldn’t have asked for anything more, apart from to stay longer!!

Very warm and welcoming check in by manager John and his staff. Staff very helpful and always happy to go the extra mile but also helpful with planning day trips or providing useful information e.g. where to buy mosquito repellent. Junior Suite room was beautiful and spacious and the bathroom had a beautiful bath and rainfall shower head. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast (buffet) was included and was packed for us on the day we had to leave early for sunrise at Angkor. Wonderful dinner (a la carte) at the Stage 1960's with lots of nostalgic features. 24 hr Room service was offered. The pool was very inviting and clean with a swim up bar (Gin Bar) at the centre. Had an excellent cocktail there. There is also a spa and gym on site, which we could not use as we were out in Siem Reap and Angkor most of the time. A free shuttle service is run either to or from the airport. We were allowed a late check out without incurring extra charges.

Nothing to dislike but some guests would possibly prefer to be closer to the centre of Siem Reap or other guests might expect more evening activities e.g. life music, entertainment. However we were perfectly happy with the tranquility of the resort.
