Location location location. Right next to the Fremantle Markets meant a quick pop around anytime (on the weekends). Breakfast was included along with a semi-stocked minibar. Off-site secured parking (at a cost) was less than 5 mins walk from the hotel.

As it was at a busy area, had to wait for an available parking spot, pay for a ticket, unload and check in before we could get the key for the off-site secured parking. Would be great if there was some loading bay where we could stop for 15 mins to check in.

The location is fantastic for visitors to Fremantle. Right in the heart of Freo, with the markets just next door and lots of restaurants and bars just a stones throw from your door. The Yogalab is just around the corner too, be sure to book as it gets busy! We are Perth locals that are familiar with the iconic Warder's buildings, so it was interesting for us to see them become a hotel that has been so sensitively and tastefully decorated. It was wonderful to stay in a piece of Freo's history.

Breakfast was not amazing, basically a pastry and a coffee. My husband had just been for a 12km run and me a yoga class and we were both pretty hungry so it didn't really fit the description of breakfast for us. I would call it a morning snack.

Some really lovely touches in the functionality and aesthetics of the room. Sparkling water on tap is a treat. Outside noise is minimal. The location is great. We were staying in Freo for a gig at Freo Social which is stumbling distance.

The tiniest criticism. One side of the bed is close to a wall where there was once a working fireplace. The shelf above the fireplace creates an obstacle that requires some body contortion to shimmy past when getting into bed on that side. There's the added bonus of a trip hazard on the floor in front of the fireplace. None of this is insurmountable, when sober, with the lights on. At 3am it's a different story.

Location is excellent for exploring Fremantle, no need for a car. Great to stay in a beautifully renovated old building. Loved the gin bar and restaurant on site. Enjoyed the complimentary mini bar, evening drinks and brekky from Gimlet. Bed very comfy, great shower.

There’s nothing we didn’t like but it would have been nice to have a small lounge or two arm chairs in the kitchen area. Also would be handy if the room key worked on the front door into the cottage as well. It didn’t worry us but there is some noise from the restaurant if you stay in the ground floor rooms in building one. Can also hear the people upstairs walking around.

The reception to the office is a bit hard to locate. But staff at the restaurant was very helpful to show me the way. Room is spacious and clean and comes with lots of extras:- complimentary drinks, free coffee and pastry for breakfast, free minibar and sparkling water on tap. Location is central and all major attractions are within walking distance.

The lighting of the room is a bit dark. The windows look out to the public parking building right across the road. One side of the bed is very close to the fireplace which makes it hard to get on/off the bed esp in the middle of the night.

Rooms were beautiful, charming and very well appointed (having sparkling water on tap felt very luxurious). Location was excellent, proximity to market and Rottnest ferry, and of course to walk and eat and drink our way around beautiful Fremantle. Complimentary pastry and coffee from Gimlet each morning was a lovely (delicious!) touch.

Not really the property’s fault but our neighbours played music right next our bedroom from 10:30pm until past midnight when we eventually cracked it and went and asked them to turn it down. Couldn’t get onto any sort of after hours management so we had to deal with this ourselves and it kind of ruined our last night here. Rooms need sound proofing maybe?? Pillows were also awful-way to high.

We stayed in the W1 on first floor. Warders is in a Great location, close to market and main cafe strip with local bars. Hotel Facilities was great, the room was spacious and comfortable. Considering the location, the room was not noisy, so we were very happy! I loved the water dispenser taps which was handy over the hot summer and filling your bottles before heading off to the beach. I would stay here again!!

Having to pay for parking which you pay day & night rates. This was my only issue.

Amazing property! I love the history of the building. The rooms are very unique. It’s in a great location. Beautiful bathroom products. Robes! Free mini bar. Still and sparkling water on tap in the room. Great in room tea and coffee provided too. The girls on reception are super welcoming, friendly and helpful. The coffee and pastry breakfast at Gimlet is yummy and the staff there are also very friendly. There’s so much to love about this place!

I found the pillows uncomfortable. As a light sleeper, its a loud location at night, even on week nights (I stayed Tuesday and Wednesday nights so didn’t think night noise would be an issue) but the noise from both the people at the gin bar below or in the car park directly out front, and then music from a near by venue made it difficult to get a good nights sleep, especially when followed by the early morning street cleaning truck.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the included breakfast was coffee and pastry, which was fine by us. A free pre-dinner drink in Gimlet was most enjoyable, and the meal we had at Emily Taylor restaurant was very good. Although we didn't take advantage of them, the free snacks in the room were also a nice touch.

Local parking is not easy to find and expensive, and although the hotel offered a special rate in the FOMO parking station opposite, this added to the cost of our stay. I guess that is the case in most city areas.
