Crystal Garden Resort & Restaurant

Excellent service. Very friendly reception. Good location. Great value for money. One of the best budget motels I have stayed in. Highly recommend.

Age of resort but it appears that they are spending money to upgrade. Not that they can do anything about age of building. Only minor repairs needed. Went to have shower at 4am but found no hot water. Later that morning it was there.

The location was great being right near the Botanic Gardens. Room was comfortable and clean. Shower was warm and had great pressure. A nice place to stop over. The Venetian style timber doors were nice in the warm tropical weather.

The clothes hanger was pretty bad, I didn’t get the confirmation text until the next day so I didn’t know how to get my room key after hours, although I did call up staff and the lady was right to the point and friendly enough. The restaurant was shut which was a little disappointing. I was going to have a spa in the evening but it had been turned off.

It was easy to access after hours. Had sliding door blinds and curtains, comfortable bed and linen, tv with local tv channels, toiletries provided.

Carpark had “Park at your own risk” which made me hesitant with my hire car. There was a spider in the bathroom. I could hear people throughout the night angrily yelling or talking very loudly. Pool didn’t look too nice.

The pool is lovely for a late night swim. The rooms are clean and functional.

It would be nice if the permanent resident next to my room didn't leave pooey nappies outside the rooms in a bag all night and morning. It would kill them to take it to the bin! The smoking on the balconies is a bit of a problem for me as well. Without these 2 problems it's actually a nice place to stay.

Everything was great, nice place, very cool set up, nice area to stay, easy access and very kind staff, overall was a good stay and will definitely be staying there again

I didn't like that we only had bed sheet for blankets which was sad for me since I get very cold easily next time some throw rugs would be nice

We needed an overnight transit hotel close to Cairns airport. Only took less than 10min by taxi. We arrived after midnight but it was easy to get our room keys.

It was very noisy with some guests screaming at night. We needed bottles of water but no bottled water in the room and couldn't find any vending machine. Would be great to have some bottles in a room.

It is what it is. Price was fair, housekeeping was a little relaxed. Rooms themselves, for the price where suitable, pillows where ceap like everywhere.

No info about Cairns or maps , food locations etc Fact shuttle only runs 10am until 4pm and you have to book it at least a day in advance but it doesn't tell you this on the website. Breakfast is advertised but not available. I didn't know I would be advised by email how to access my room and missed the message it would be good if the message was sent the day before.

Love the Room the toilet and bathroom air-condition and the location where it is just would like to tell my friends and families about it👌👍

Would be batter if the keys could open both front and backdoor in your rooms.but other than that it's fantastic i would continue booking There i love it❤️ 👌👍

Booked last minute! They were closed, but owner was very quick to respond, he allowed us a late checkout, which was very welcome after a trying day's travel. Good, comfortable sleep. After checking out were able to store luggage there.

Noisy exhaust fan in bathroom. The room could do with some maintenance!
