Gabba Central Apartments

Loved the layout of the apartment! Very conveniently located on Level 1. Room 106. Bed was very comfy! So much space for clothes/bags! Awesome to have a washing machine and dryer. Nice big balcony overlooking the Gabba! Gets the morning sun and perfect to hang out wet washing on the clotheshorse. We used the sauna and pool daily - fantastic to have!

It was super noisy at any random hour of the night due to ambulances (just up the road from the hospital) and people hooning through the main roads in their cars. Luckily I get back to sleep easily - but might not be the place to stay if you struggle to stay asleep! The water pressure in our master bathroom shower was terrible, so we all ended up sharing the shower in the 2nd bathroom. No recycling bin!!!! We piled all of ours up for days and then recycled it in a public bin. An easy fix, and one that should be made. No aircon or fan in the 2nd room - so it got hot if the internal door wasn't left open. You can't leave the balcony door open due to noise!

Great location and super friendly staff. The property is close to the Woolloongabba bus port and only minutes away from south bank and the CBD. Great to stay here if you are catching something at the Gabba stadium. Great restaurants close by, coles downstairs and a great coffee shop.

We have stayed here a few times now, and there is a sewage smell that creeps into the room and hallways. This stay it wasn’t too bad, but still around. Nothing crazy and off putting, but must be an ongoing issue for the property.

I’ve stayed at Gabba Apartments multiple times, it’s in such a convenient location. Supermarket, pub, cafés right underneath, major bus interchange across the road, diagonally opposite the Gabba, easy access from the north via the Story Bridge, excellent customer service.

There was no air conditioning in the second bedroom, which meant the doors staying open so air con from the living area could be used. which meant a lack of privacy for the other couple we were travelling with.

Our accomodation got cancelled by another company a few hours before we arrived in Brisbane, whilst driving. Gabba Central Apartments was available, and very quick and easy to book. They were very accomodating to our requests before arrival too. Comfy beds, well equipped and enough shampoo, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc. provided. If you run out you can request more, which so many apartments don't do. Location was wonderful, and apartment was quiet even though the city is noisy. Couldn't even hear the football game at the Gabba. Stayed here from Melbourne before moving into my new house in Brisbane, and gave me a very good first impression of the city. Thank you!

Lift is a little slow, but not a huge deal!

Great location, very close to my event at the GABBA (which is across the road). Lots of options for food with a Coles and bakery plus cafes, restaurants and even a pub right at ground level. Wifi was very good and enjoyed the roof top pool. Added a new bed mid stay which was very comfortable (as the old bed wasn’t). Having Foxtel in the room was an added bonus.

While the room was big, the set up was strange. Big bed, two bedside tables, two chairs and TV stand with small TV and Foxtel but literally nothing else - no desk to work at or even a table to eat at (definitely space to fit one, if not both). Had 3 wardrobes and one had bar fridge in, plus kettle, plates and cups etc (quite peculiar).

Fantastic location with great parking and convenience to Coles and take aways restaurants. Also very close to the motorway. The room was small but comfortable, good variety of pillows. The usual tv channels with the ability to sign in and watch Netflix or YouTube. The jug was broken and no hairdryer when I arrived but the friendly staff attended to that very quickly. The microwave was great, small fridge that only had enough space for ice in the freezer. The pool looked great but the wet week meant I wasn't able to try it out.

There was a significant leak in the room resulting in very wet carpet. It was during the torrential rain that resulted in severe flooding across the state. Not anyone's fault but the issue will need to be addressed as it could develop into a serious problem.

good location for what we were doing with work & family.

Bed in Ensuite very uncomfortable , the bed was a king bed but it was made up with a double mattress protector which made our first 2 nites sleeps uncomfortable . The toilet seat was stained in the ensuite & needs replacing. we used the other bathroom . We were in the 2 bed & 2 bathroom apartment .

The apartment was well equipped,clean and spacious. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location for accessing public transit and river walk. It was great having shops on the doorstep for groceries etc.

I had requested a quiet room. It was the noisiest place I have ever stayed. Traffic noise 24/7 and awful if anyone used the treadmill in the gym directly above the apartment.

The room was a good size and very clean.

I know we could wash the towels but a couple spare would have been good. The traffic was a bit noisy but that was to be expected on a main road. When I changed arrival dates, the reservation system also changed us to a 1 bedroom. The staff did fix the problem very quickly though. Well done to them.

Location was AMAZING!!!! Hotel, Eateries, Coles, Bakery downstairs. Room was clean and today. Next visit I would definitely get the room with a balcony, our room was small but functional. Gabba was a short walk just across the road - perfect to get to and from the football!

Wasn't a great problem, but lift was super slow to wait for. Would not stop me staying there again though!
