Good location - fairly central to most touristic sightseeing places. Good restaurant and bars at ground floor and rooftop were great. Staff attentive and professional. Young gentleman serving drinks on rooftop bar 23/08 was great and should be commended for his service efforts. Pool at the top of the roof is a nice addition Bed was nice and comfy.

Soundproofing not as good as other hotels I have visited - noise is noticeable when cleaners start their morning routine cleaning duties. Coffee machine - I ran an empty water cycle. It appears the machine has not been cleaned in quite some time based on the coffee granules and darkened water that was emitted so I didn't use it. Construction work & noise although a lot of this was kept to a bare minimum and did not affect my stay other than being aware of it.

a hotel employee let themselves in our room at 5am in the morning. I was up reading and saw the door open! They did not knock. The front desk assured us it was no one on staff but later told us it was a staff person. They were able to check the keys that opens the door.

We really liked the hotel. I wondered if any of the rooms ever come up for sale? We would be interested in a suite overlooking the fountain and would also need parking for 2 cars. We liked the central location and would be happy to fit our own kitchen etc and refurbish to our own colours. Obviously any works would have to be agreed to avoid any inconvenience to other guests. We looked at Brighton in the UK but prefer Madrid or Sevilla as long as there is air conditioning in the Aparthotel.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Walking distance to many points of interest and very easy to hail a taxi anytime. It overlooks a small but lovely square and we enjoyed watching dogs playing, skateboarders, blooming trees and buskers from our balcony. Good room design. Comfy bed. We appreciated the late checkout. Overall we were happy with our choice of hotel.

Our original room was on the top floor, while the room was great, there was renovation and repair work going on on the floor above and the noise made it very difficult to relax (we had just gotten there after a long flight). When we asked the staff about it, they admitted they had work going on although there was no mention about this on their website or no prior warning. We felt a little blindsided. We were shifted to another room on a lower floor the next morning, and although the room was identical to our original one, it did feel a little bit dated and in need of some care (eg. the shower glass partition was loose causing water to fall over the tub and everywhere in the bathroom). This was the one hiccup during our otherwise good stay.

The hotel was ideally located for all the museums and the shopping district. It was a short walk away from the Retiro park and historic Madrid. There are all kind of restaurants around, from KFC to Michelin stars. There is a swimming pool ( tiny) in a sister hotel round the corner, with a bar at the top of the building. Not good for a swim but perfect for cooling down. The communal areas of the hotel have a very calm atmosphere and there are beautiful artworks. All the staff are incredibly helpful and smiley- this is Madrid after all. There is a car park in the hotel (€30 day) and the hotel deals with Madrid congestion charge)

The curtains were not blackout so there was plenty of light in the morning through the east facing window. We ordered eggs for breakfast, my fried egg was overcooked and the yolk solid. My husband’s scrambled eggs were also dry and overdone.

The surrounding is peaceful and quiet. You can see an elegant plaza from the balcony, where at night you can enjoy a glass of wine under the trees without a care in the world. The stuff is polite and helpful. About fifteen minutes’ walk to the royal palace and the opera and ten minutes’ walk to the Park. Definitely a good choice if you want to roam the city centre. The room is clean and rather delicate.

Location is perfect! near museums, parks, shops, restaurants Room was very comfortable, great pillows! Quiet. Breakfast is wonderful, with a lot of options of fruit, bread, cheese, eggs, and the staff who serves there is very friendly and helpful

I had already been there in past August 2022, and I paid much less than in this new period, like 100 Euros less for each night, I don't really know why it was so expensive in the first days of october. The bathroom is nice, but I prefer a shower with glass doors; this bathroom had a tub with half a glass, so it's really difficult to keep dry outside of the tub.

Location is perfect, near museums, shops, restaurants, plazas. Breakfast is great!! A variety of fruits, breads, we can choose how we prefer the eggs to be cooked! The staff at fronts desk and specially, at dining room are very nice, friendly and heplful!! Room was ok . In the lobby they have like a living room area where you can seat and drink a delicious water with oranges to refresh and rest before going to the room!!

The twin beds are a little tiny compared to american twin beds, you feel you are going to fall down from them. I really prefer a bathroom with shower, because it is much more comfortable to get in .

Welcoming staff who gave stellar suggestions for nearby restaurants. Our superior Room was quiet, and well-equipped with lovely pillows, comfy cotton sheets. Large tub to soak in! Spacious. Plenty of storage. Location to all local side streets to explore and enjoy the city. And a bar in the lobby too! Highly recommend.

Honestly this hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. I requested a room away from the street and noise and they accommodated in an email prior to arrival.

The staff at the hotel were superb, specifically Nerea and Sandra at the front desk. They both gave me excellent recommendations for places to eat and were always helpful if I had a question. Both of them exemplify what it means to provide great service to guests of the hotel.

I didn't like the bathtub/shower. It's difficult to get in and out of without bracing myself so that I didn't fall and I'm still a relatively young man. The tub gets slippery while showering and it feels like you could fall while taking a shower as well. If there was some traction or a water proof bathmat to lay inside the shower as an option, that would be nice. I would have preferred a bathroom with just a shower that I get into easily. I couldn't imagine how challenging this bathtub would be for elderly guests to get in and out of without falling and hurting themselves.
