One Shot Prado 23

Room was clean and comfortable. Isabell at the front desk was extremely helpful to us and a great asset to your hotel. Location was good, had to walk a bit to find places to eat for breakfast but overall very pleasant.

Bathroom was a bit small and not a fan of the door to the toilet/shower area. Had a wallet lost when site seeing which contained luggage key so disappointed that a bolt cutter was not available at the front desk for these types of emergencies. We did buy one at a hardware store and left it at the hotel so future guest that have this issue aren't left ruining their luggage.

The economy room that I had booked was too small and I had to ask and pay for a larger and better room. Subsequently the room provided was good. The bed was comfortable. The hotel location is excellent. The receptionists Sarah, Bianca and Kimberley were most helpful, spoke good english and made our stay worthwhile with their prompt service and assistance. The hotel does not provide breakfast and we had to look for a decent place on the first morning. Overall the experience with this hotel was good.

The hotel has rooms on the ground floor, which I would not recommend.

The location is great, just this street is full of hotels and restaurants, bars and other facilities. It was also easy to find a pharmacy and a small supermarket in the neighbourhood. I was very pleased with the service staff, the receptionist was professional and friendly and could provide luggage storage and catering heating service.

The room was nice, the downside was that the bedroom had a small light in front of the bed, but a large light was missing, making the room not bright enough at night.

Location was perfect. The area we wanted to stay in, been in Madrid many times. We left our luggage at the hotel as check in was 2 pm, staff thoughtfully put our luggage in the room prior to our check in. Staff were all lovely and a handwritten postcard was left by the staff in our room thanking us for trusting them to keep us safe and for staying in the hotel. A lovely personal touch. Liked the funky touch if the mirror being the tv.

A kettle in the room to make tea/ coffee would have been nice after a long day sightseeing. Little touch up of paint in certain areas of the room required and bedside table was sticky

Nicely located in a great neighborhood about 10 minutes from The Prado with many excellent restaurants and bars nearby. very friendly staff and free coffee and tea fixings on every floor, nice before heading out for the day. The room also had a mini fridge for cold drinks and an excellent shower with lots of hot water!

A few technical glitches; no sound on the TV. and it was a bit noisy at night with the street noise. Minor complaints

the hotel is located very centric, the neighbourhood is very safe. you are very near to any point of interest. the hotel itself is very nicely decorated and clean. the room I was staying in was the standard room and was quite small but it was ok. It was an interior room so there was no noise at all.

the room was an interior room so I didn’t have much light. the emergency light in the room was broken, it’s supposed to only be on when there is no electricity or when you don’t have the card in the contact box. But the light was on all night and taking the card out and putting it back in didn’t fix it. so I had a hard time falling asleep as the light was on all night.

One Shot Prado 23 was self-consciously modern (walls at angles in public spaces, “closet” was hangers on plumbing, extremely young staff). It’s fabulously located, just a couple blocks from the National Museum and other important galleries, and around the corner from a lively tapas district, a good breakfast cafe, a relaxed square with restaurants, and a bodega/deli.

the staff was very friendly and very helpful. we checked-in at around 23:00h and when we arrived we were greeted at the reception with smiles and politeness. also, we received an email prior to our arrival explaining the different option we had to reach the hotel from the airport, advices that were very helpful. the room was clean, the bathroom was amazing, very big shower and very clean.

we had 2 beds instead of a single double bed and the problem was that one mattress was better, i would say newer, than the other. they were both comfortable and we slept very good, but it’s just that we noted a difference

Great location. And charming receptionist. She immediately solved the problem with air conditioning in my room and was professional and helpful throughout. She recommended a great cafe for breakfast, the Brown Bear Bakery C. del León Madrid. The hotel are fortunate to have some so professional and pleasant working for them

The bedrooms could do with a lick of paint

Quiet hotel with a sleek modern looking room. Comfortable beds. Great location, within walking distance of the Prado Museum and the Plaza Mayor. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood with reasonable prices. We bought pastries for breakfast at the grocery nearby and put them in the fridge as there is no breakfast.

Traveling with my grown daughter, the lack of a door by the shower for dressing/undressing was a bit of a surprise.
