Hotel Madrid Río

Hotel is in a very central location with a lot of amenities near by such as shopping mall, laundromat, pharmacies, etc. Staff was very friendly and facilitated our needs. They even gave great advice on tourist locations and food options and was always eager to assist. For me personally the room was a bit warm as the heating was on (November-December) but they were very helpful and gave me a fan :)

We rented a three bedroom apartment through the hotel. We thought it was at the main hotel, when we arrived, we found out it was at an annex building. The apartment was like new and had Ikea furniture and other stuff. It was very clean and comfortable for a base for our visit to Madrid. Would definitely recommend.

Not knowing at the start that it was at an annex building. When we arrived at the hotel with our luggage, we found that we had to walk about 500 meters to get to building, the distance wasn't the issue. What was the issue was 300 of the 500 meters was up hill. We were able to do it but if we had known, would have had taxi drop us off at building vice hotel. Other than that it was great.

We did not expect very much, we were trying to find accomodation with good price with good location for two adults and one child and stayed for two nights. There were comfortable beds, working Tv, nice bathroom and kind and friendly personnel in the hotel. The location was very good, metro stations on every side of the hotel and different lines, safe area with shops around and few restaurants. Also shopping center right in the corner, but we didnt go there. And very good price, for which we mainly chose this hotel for our stay. Furniture was older, but mostly working as should.

Even the price for accomodation was very low, the view from window was very bad to inside part of the building, but this didnt bother us much. I was dissapointed about the closed for clothes, becouse the one there was not working. Inside this closet was only a small cabinet which usually you use next to your bed and that was all the area where you can put your clothes.

This was a great value option for a weekend stay in Madrid. It was by the Madrid Rio Park, which I really enjoyed walking through and also sitting at a café. It exposed me to an area and neighborhood that I was not aware of, so it added to my Madrid experience in a positive way. I enjoyed my single room as it was cozy and quiet. Also, the hotel has a great gym a block away for anyone wanting a workout while in town.

The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. They made check-in and check-out easy. The hotel also features a restaurant with very good hours of operation. Additionally, the room attendants were very cordial and pleasant to interact with. This hotel is a very good value for Madrid. It also was a pleasant walk to the Atocha Trail Station for meeting my train when departing.

I only needed a bed/room f one night before my flight to Bolivia. Everything was fine, location is good, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, Metro station Usera (Line 6) is the closest (walking distance), there is also Legazpi (Line 3 and 6) a bit farther. Hotel staff was nice, luggage storage facility if one has a late flight is available. Clean, affordable, safe, I would say.

It is not what I didn't like, just so you know ... - reception is up a flight of stairs and that is also the floor where the elevator starts - internet was a bit slow - single room rather small

The size of the room and the bathroom, is was really Big. The bedroom had two night tables and the bathroom had two washbasin.

There was not enough lights or the room was too dark. Another thing was the air conditioning happens that don't blow enough according to the control panel levels (that doesn't have remote control) so it takes so much time to get cold the room. The last thing was the wardrobe is small if you think you need to put clothes for two adults. The shower would be larger considering the space that have into the bathroom.

Stayed in the apartment about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. 3 double beds ideal for family. Upstairs loft was very unique with glass floor walkway. Very open concept of this apartment. 2 bathrooms a real plus! Lidl located around the corner. Parking located in the basement of the hotel.

We walked to the attractions in the center of Madrid but it was a hike. But for the price it was ok for the location. One night loud children could be heard easily through the walls.

I was staying in one of the studios which was actually in a completely separate building. This was very spacious with a ground floor lounge/kitchen/bathroom, and an upstairs double bed and ensuite. Property was clean, good location and relatively quiet. There were grocery stores within two minutes walk, and the metro station was five minutes walk away. It suited my needs perfectly

I wasn't aware when i booked that the accommodation was not in the main body of the hotel, which was a bit of a shock when arriving in the rain at midnight! The stairs of all the properties in the building are made of metal which means I could hear the footsteps of those in adjoining rooms - not ideal if you are a light sleeper. The outer door was very stiff and you practically had to shoulder-charge it to open it, which also concerned me a little late at night. But these are minor things and I would stay here again.

The location of the property is right good a few minutes walk from Rio 2 shopping center and the rio walking trails.

The housekeeping part was good clean bed, and clean private bathroom with limited toiletries. However the room could use a few updates the curtains were very dirty and old which made the room feel dirty. Customer service - not very friendly. They send us to put our luggage away, when we got there it was another guess in the room putting their luggage away and they had the key to open and close the room. we felt that our luggage was not that safe there as they send guests to put and retrieve luggage having access to any thing in that room with no supervision as the room is in a different floor away from the reception.

I booked a room for 3 people, two adults and 1 kid, and the room was very spacious. The metro station is 8 minutes away. There is a Open25 (24h minimart) nearby and a mercadona. Also a shopping center a couple of blocks away. The hotel has a very nice restaurant with ok food.
