the shower was very slippery and dangerous. Two members of our party did not shower for 2 days because they could not stand inside the bathtub/shower without feeling they were going to slip and fall. Some sort of rubber mat would make all the difference.

The room was spacious and very good, and the bathroom was amazing. We didn't have a view, but the location is very centric that we didn't have to use public transportation not once during our 4 days stay in Madrid

If you cannot sleep with light on, you better bring a sleeping mask. There is a red emergency light over the door that is always ON. In our room, there was no electricity plug near the bed.

Staff super friendly and professional, especially a young man called Carlos at reception, tho everyone was great, even the staff at the cafetería. Very clean and very comfy premises. Excellent location.

We asked for a quiet room as one of the guests was a bit on the older side. probably as the room had a large air conduct in the ceiling and we had some young neighbours who were having a good time in a largeish group, heard them laughing and talking until we fell asleep ( the elderly guest did within 5 minutes ) :)), didn't complain but perhaps check wall thickness standards next hotel makeover.

Hotel was about 4 streets away from the main train station of Atocha which was why we picked this hotel. We were surprised with the frindly but professional staff and the cleanliness of the room. Our room faced the Main Street and the botanical gardens. Since the windows were doubled, it was quiet even with the traffic. The hotel restaurant was also surprisingly good, not expensive and also very clean. We would stay here again especially if we have to use the trains to get to other cities on our itinerary.

Our room had pretty shades instead of curtains and one set didn't work. We mentioned it to the reception and they were willing to send someone up right away to try to fix it. We declined because we were tired and it was broken at the down position so no problem with anyone looking in. While not a 'luxury' hotel, it is one that is better than basic with good staff and pretty lobby with piano if you can play and a good restaurant.

Fantastic location, perfect for someone who likes to walk everywhere. Room was comfortable and cosy: perfect for a solo traveller out and about. Desk staff were super friendly and very helpful especially when asked about about transport etc. Room/window soundproofing was incredibly effective considering my balcony sat directly on the main road. Didn't hear a peep!

Would've been helpful to have more plug sockets, and one close to bed for phone. Bring 4-way extension and you'll be fine.

Excellent location opposite botanic gardens and park. Really close to the station as we came by train from Toledo so could just walk from the station to the hotel. Also really easy to walk back to the station to get the 203 bus back to the airport..Bus 5 Euros each. Restaurant in hotel is nice. Good reasonable price Tapas.

Rooms are quite small. Would have been nice to get a kettle but don't think they give you kettles much in Spanish hotel rooms. Wish we had taken our travel kettle.

Very close to main rail station from the airport and the three main art galleries/museums. Very comfortable room (we paid extra for superior). Great air conditioning for summer heat. Very clean. Good over the bath shower. Exceptional noise insulation from very busy main road traffic. On arrival, Receptionist drew for us on a map, our location, all the nearby sights, eating areas etc, without us asking, this was very useful.

Very good location, 10 min walking distance from the main train station, plenty of touristic attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. I was given a more quiet room as requested. Room was clean, the bed was good for me, bathroom was a bit small.

I had problem connecting to internet, it may have been related to hotel's server. Front desk couldn't find out what caused the problem. After exploring many ways to connect to internet I got connected after 1.5 days. It didn't have a safe in the room. It was a bit overpriced.

The room had a really nice view of the botanic gardens. It was a good size for a short stay with everything you need. The air-conditioning was nice too, I liked how I was able to change it to my needs. I also liked the little balcony, I was able to see a beautiful sunset.

The bed was easily pushed and so it moved quite a bit, but that isn't a huge deal. It was also a little noisy in the hallway with other guests going to and from their rooms. Other than that it was a great stay.

Very clean. Staff nice. Quiet. Bed very comfortable. Location very good. Between Reina Sofia and El Prado. Hot water and water pressure very good. Rooms at back face small street with Caixa Forum Museum adjacent. That building has no windows so rooms are very private even with window open. Pet friendly. I wish Booking.com disclosed the additional fee amount for a pet. This one was €12/night in Sep 2022. Breakfast had several options from just toast to full English style. Priced only for what you chose...much better than expensive type one price fits all breakfasts which are only worth it if you stuff yourself.

Small Double: Bathroom extremely small even for one person. No toilet paper holder. Roll was set on top of tank. Small amount of mold in shower. Desk blocking half of closet door. I suggest moving bed closer to window and desk to entry side. Two people need a larger double. No refrigerator.
