We arrived having lost a passport! The staff could not have been more helpful. Our room got flooded by a fault in the room above and they immediately moved us to another room. We had to extend our stay at short notice(due to travel delays related to lost passport), which they did with no fuss. They made the nightmare start to our holiday on Spain as painfree as possible. The staff in bar and restaurant were friendly beyond belief, and looked after us like we were family. I would have no hesitation in staying there anytime We’re in Madrid.

The unfortunate flood of our room, but that could happen anywhere, the point is that they dealt with it immediately.

Location is very good with easy access to Atocha and other Metro stations.[walking distance] Even tough, you have Museo del Prado at a 15min walking ALL of the personnel we interacted with was fantastic, helpful, cooperative and professional. They do whatever they need in their power to satisfy customer requests. Rooms are very big, nothing compared to European standards. On top, they are complete with a lockbox, mini fridge, perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff wil organize your every day to perfection. Wonderful design of the rooms with a very modern look. Breakfast buffet is fantastic with full of choices to all of tastes and diets. Great value for your money. [Reserved 5 months in advance, so I encourage to do so with time if you can, hotel was completely full]

Light in the ceiling is the only thing I missed

Room was very spacious with a large balcony, but only one chair inside and none outside. No instructions for coffee machine, shower, television. Shower options very good but it took a long time for hot water to reach us. Breakfast was plentiful, and varied, but lacked English breakfast options.

Furniture was largely uncomfortable, settees being large, square and low, difficult to sit back into, and impossible to rest your head. Nothing else.

Location is very convenient. It’s close to the Atocha train station and an easy, pleasant walk to the Prado Museum and other attractions. Very clean, comfortable hotel. Sleek, modern design which is very attractive, but somewhat impractical (see comments below). Great breakfast.

Room design was unusual to say the least. Toilet door is black glass, swing style and doesn’t close properly, allowing toilet sounds and aromas to permeate the room. If sharing the room, you may want to bring ear plugs and air freshener with you! The shower is located in the middle of the room and is see through. When showering, you will be on full display to whoever you are sharing the room with. This may or may not be a good thing, depending on your relationship to your room mate. Free wifi was unreliable. Hotel is quite expensive and not good value.

Great selection at breakfast. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Rooms were spacious, comfortable beds & pillows!

The shower set-up (glass exterior in the centre of the room) could be an issue if sharing with friends/colleagues, as this left you completely exposed. I'd recommend this being a pre-requisite ask ahead of check-in, to ensure that the room set-up wouldn't make anyone uncomfortable.

Location was good for train and metro about 500 meters away. Good breakfast.

Not a great location for seeing the "old" town. Good for museums. Our room was good but the sliding glass door opened up to the flat roof of part of the hotel. We were told that chairs could not be put outside, so we just stood out there. Good view though. Our room was actually in an attached building. to go from our room to the front reception or breakfast area, had to use 2 different elevators and walk about 100 meters.

Just a street away from Atocha Renfe, the hotel is great in location, with lively and safe neighborhoods nearby. One can walk along the beautiful Paseo Del Prado, a boulevard full of trees and museums en route to the touristic Madrid center. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The reception staff is extremely efficient, speak English fluently and very helpful. The hotels boasts of tasteful and modern decor with artworks plus an amazing minimalist garden with olive trees! The twin bedroom we were given (graciously given ahead of check in time) was huge with a small sofa and with a ultramodern shower stall with bathtub and excellent toiletries. There was also a complimentary Nespresso pods and coffee machine in the room. An amazing hotel for the price we were given. I will definitely come back and book future stays!

Nothing to mention.

The room was very clean, spacious, with a comfortable bed, and a spotless bathroom. The continental breakfast was a little expensive, but very tasty with a good selection of meats and cheeses as well as fruits, pastries etc. All the staff from the front desk to the waitress in the breakfast were all super friendly.

I don't think we disliked anything about this hotel. If we find ourselves in Madrid again, it will be our first choice.
