Crystal Crown Hotel Petaling Jaya

Location : strategic, easy to move around PJ, no heavy traffic in vacinity. Staff : understaffed but all of them are efficient and polite. Room : i stayed in junior suite, it is spacious, quiet, clean, and as advertised. Food : free breakfast starts from 6.30-10.30am. continental style. Foods are ok, i would recommend the nasi lemak. Overall : 8/10

Bed : too squeaky Coffee machine : no coffee capsules was provided Telephone : both phone in my room 1222 not functioning.

We booked this hotel because there was a wedding to attend in the Crystal Ballroom. Location, parking and the whole experience was nice. Room was comfortable and shower was nice and hot. It's nice that the Air-cond is manual control which enables us to switch it off or adjust the temperature accordingly which most hotels can't do so.

The staffs were rather rude and not very friendly. Something I would not expect to see or experience in a hotel of this range. Hospitality could be improved, otherwise was a worthy, comfortable stay.

The room & restaurant

OKU parking at front lobby is charged same as valet parking, while at any other hotel its FOC. Parking at B1, B2 & B3 is not OKU friendly to disabled driver. Lift from parking goes to ground level but open to outside of hotel & stairs. Disabled driver with wheelchair shall have problem accessing. Staff at entrance/valet name Harday was quite rude & not welcoming. We had to push the trolley with our luggage by ourself up to our room, then sent it back to the lobby. They are short of staff at frontdesk so you will need to wait a while till they pick up your call.

Room was very clean and spacious. Toiletries are provided upon request, hot water takes about 1 minute to come in, sheets are clean, housekeeping was very efficient. Parking was easy and complimentary. Dont expect too much from a hotel in Malaysia especially in PJ, this is one of the best one you can find in the vicinity.

Water from the shower does flow out due to the structure lf the toilet but a floor mat is provided. If your room doesn't come with breakfast, and you want to purchase during your stay please purchase upon check in as the price you pay if you go straight to the cafe is higher.

Good restaurant, staff were attentive. Reception a little offish at the second extension. Great size junior suite. Lights a bit difficult (till found master switch). The shower door crashes against the toilet bowel.

The air con is so high in the restaurant, that the food gets cold very quickly. The one way system gets a little jammed if someone drops off to go straight down to main road. Could have vacuumed the carpets on our floor as the white dirt made it look dirty.

Helpful reception staff at check in and especially at checkout, ordered a Grab to KLIA for us

1. Restaurant should make it clearer that they serve no alcohol, felt embarassed when i asked. 2. Confused when making original booking, mistakenly booked Crystal Crown Johor Baru, had to cancel - should be clearer on booking.com site.

I travel to Petaling Jaya annually and I always stay at the Crystal Crown PJ. It is right next door to the customer, is centrally located to everything I need, rooms are always clean and breakfast and restaurants are excellent.

Love the junior suite! Got bath tub. The price is reasonable

Its so hard to get in touch with the service counter via phone. Our tv was not working. The technician did came suggested to change the room. But we had to call the receptionist few time. Luckily one of th staff came and helped us change the room.

The room is bigger for 1 person staying. Clean and comfort with nice city view. The room service is fast delivery. The foods at the restaurant was delicious. The receptionist was friendly. Overall this is my favourite hotel in Petaling Jaya.
