Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara

The room was very spacious and well appointed. The shower had good water pressure and Balmain amenities that were good. Right next to the newly opened Pavilion Damansara Heights and had a lot of food choices. DC Hall was next door and quiet. Like that it's away from the hustle and bustle of KL city. Car park was safe and affordable (not complimentary even for hotel guests) - well-lit and have security

Breakfast variety and standard could be improved especially when guests are paying RM60 per pax per morning.

Comfortable room, great pool and facilities, convenience store right besides the lobby. Overall, it was a nice stay.

-The pillows were too soft and flat which was hard for my partner and I to sleep in, we had to use the sofa pillows to sleep in. -Found some minor stains on pantry table as well as bed sheet. -COVID-19 SOP of cleaners can be better as we found them weren’t wearing the face mask properly at the hallway while performing cleaning for the rooms.

The hotel is magnificently beautiful and strategically located. The hotel staff were very hospitable, responsive to our needs, and provided us with impeccable service throughout our stay. The room was clean, spacious, cozy, and comfortable. The facilities and amenities provided by the hotel are up-to-date and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety to choose from, the quantity provided was always sufficient and timely replenished, and more importantly, it was super delicious. It definitely made our staycation very memorable and my wife's birthday extra special. We will definitely consider staying here again.

- the aircon in one of our room was leaking and our boys slipped on the puddle and fell twice.

The breakfast choices are limited. However, the taste and quality is excellent. Children finger food and local delicacy suggested to have more options for stay in guest. Overall, the service, facilities and cleanliness is above expectation.

I was shocked the concierge staff did not advise me on the parking after validated still required to pay the parking fee at MYR 28 for 3 days nights. I supposed the in-house guest parking is free of charge but yet I still required to paid for it.

I’ve got to hand it to the staff of this hotel. From the start till the end of our trip, we have been treated as a priority. They have been so accommodating with unexpected events that happened, and the manager made it a point to check in on us every day. The hotel itself is pretty new and it’s lavish style and excellent location is really value for money. Our friends and family who stayed at the same time as us also complimented the buffet breakfast, the facilities, the spa, and the hotel rooms. We would definitely stay here again and once again thanks to each and every one of the staff that made our trip exceptional.

I didn’t like that our trip had to end and I had to leave the room! We wished we could have stayed here longer!

It was not my first time staying in this hotel. The front desk did extremely well in welcoming me. The spa is excellent. The wifi is strong. Parking has more signage, which is an improvement. Received a welcoming drink, which is an additional plus point.

The housekeeping is slightly poor this time. I saw the housekeeper performing housekeeping in a nearby room, but mine was skipped. I have to call the housekeeping line to instruct the housekeeping needed. Bath salt wasn't being replenished either. It wasn't at such the last time I visited. Improvement is required.

We liked end enjoyed the facilities, pool, and spa. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was very helpful. Booking and communication was smooth.

It was a good choice for two days, but if you decide to stay for the long term, it might not work because restaurants on the ground floor and 1st floor were so noisy due to corporate gatherings. Breakfast could be controlled better and with more international options. Also, the room we stayed in was very humid and smelled of humidity. They offered us two different rooms, but unfortunately, all of them were the same. The only solution was ozonizer which required to be out of room for more than an hour.

I made a reservation for two nights without breakfast. It is my second time visiting the hotel. The room is overall clean and comfortable. Room shower is strong and the temperature is easily adjustable. The rooms has full amenities. Still amaze by the AI of the parking detection.

The parking is still very much confusing even though I visited the 2nd time. The moment you have missed the turning, you are required to make a big round, I believe the hotel could improve on its signage to provide more visible direction towards the hotel parking. I had a simple brunch in the hotel, ordered a few dim sum, it didn't meet my expectations in terms of food quality.

The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable! Definitely enjoyed the stay and had one of the best breakfast buffet ever - lot of varieties and quite a few premium food choices too! The pool was small but the floating bean bags made up for it. The hotel is accessible to another mall so it’s easy for you to get food too! Their staffs were also very friendly and we even got a brownie as our anniversary treat!
