St Giles Boulevard

With the renovation, the hotel rooms are clean, bright and fresh. Having easy access to Mid Valley shopping mall and The Gardens is definitely a plus.

We have issue with the sound from the heavy rain beating on the metal panel for the room on 28th floor. Also the children of next door was shouting and jumping early in the morning. Also dragging with luggage which we believe was the family checking in early 6 am or so. Also had thought parking the car is free for the two days we were staying at the hotel.

The revamped/renovated room is way better than how it was before covid; layout and extra tiers for the desk. Drinks area was dedicated, very specific, I like. No obstructing sofa now, best.

The room 2112 I was in, the flush system could be better. The air-conditioning is constantly cool to cold. We switched it off and the air was still cool/cold. There might be a thermostat thing the property might want to look into? The area above the safe and where the hair dryer is, some lights installed could be helpful. No more small bottles of body lotion provided. Only encased shower gel and shampoo which are fine. But some body lotion like how it was could be helpful.

This is the 3rd St Giles hotels that we have stayed in this area - the other 2 is St Giles Hotel and St Giles Residence ( undergoing renovation ). While the other 2 are located at The Gardens, St Giles Boulevard is connected to Mid Valley Mall. Its official opening was on 31st August 2023 - the day we checked in. The rooms were nice, well lighted, comfy bed and pillow. The bathroom and shower were good. It is not as extravagant as St Giles Hotel, but it serves the purpose and well equipped. The staff was nice and helpful, greet us well, inclusive housekeeping. Shyana was helpful during our checked out. For convenient, if you are driving, should try to park at C ie underground. Parking H is a multi storey carpark, and you have to take 1 flight of stairs to get to the lifts. Very inconvenient if you are carrying bags.

The buffet spread is very tasty, though, may be quite limited in choices - it is OK but not as extravagant as some other hotels. Nevertheless, the food is nice and tasty. The door to the Mall is shut at 1am to 6am. So if you want to watch midnight movies at GSC Mid Valley, you need to check how you can get back to the lobby. There is no couch or sofa in the room, just 1 study table chair.

Room was very large and lots of ample space for my 4 yrs old daughter to run around..

The air con fan speed was noisy and high speed despite being set at LOW level. Toilet bathtub surface peeled and rusty. Can't use it for our daughter shower and afraid it will cut her feet. Mini bar fridge was not running chilled despite changing for a new set .. probably due to poor enclosure cabinet design which house the mini bar fridge. Heat pump trapped inside enclosure cabinet and toast the mini bar fridge.

Front desk staff are very friendly & attentive. Special mention of HARRIS who was especially courteous and helpful. Our luggage was also secured after check-out at 2pm until 6pm when we took our taxi to KLIA. Thanks.

Housekeeping is a bit hit-&-miss. Sometimes good but on a few occasions forgot to change towels, replenish toilet paper and facial tissues. Understand its a new team as the hotel only reopened on 31st August & problems are being sorted out.

The real pleasure in staying at the Boulevard is the breakfast. The quality of the food, the layout and above all the staff, lead by an excellent Restaurant Manager and very talented Chef, are excellent. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel are equally courteous and where possible helpful.

There are no power points in the bathroom, which is a bit of a problem in the age of the electric tooth brush. There is no English language news on the television.

Room was adequately spacious, with power outlets at the right place. Room was clean. Room temperature control was excellent. Shower temperature control was excellent, too, able to adjust easily so as not to be too cold or hot.

Would be better if noise from neighbor rooms can be reduced, guests speaking volume was loudly heard in the morning. Also, I have lower back problem, I can't sleep flat on a bed. I have to sleep sloping with head at a higher height. If room has a recliner sofa to sleep on would be perfect.

Location was great since I love Mid Valley. Room was great too, comfy bed and pillow. Very clean. I am a returning customer so will see you all soon. Rebooked for my next trip :)

Just an old incident with the valet parking assistance. For customers, please ensure you get your valet parking ticket stamped as evidence that the parking fees were paid. In another old incident, we had issues with the toilet flush.

Quick check in and check out; helpful staff; pleasant ambience; nice and clean rooms; next to MidValley shopping mall with direct access; good in-room entertainment options, nice and comfy bed and pillow

Probably more spread for breakfast buffet. Noise coming from main water pipe, which I think located next to the room. A single sofa in the premium room would be very good

I have stayed at The Boulevard several times now and each time has been very pleasant. The location is fantastic right above Mid Valley Megamall and has easy access from KLIA. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good; lots of variety - although the coffee is always very disappointing and should be an easy fix.
