VE Hotel & Residence

Everything about VE Hotel was amazing! I genuinely enjoyed my time in VE and especially the breakfast service provided, but what amazed me the most was deifinitely how welcoming the staff were. It was my first time to Malaysia, and VE made me want to visit there again already.

In general, everything was fine, but it would be better if VE can make sure that all the amenity were avaliable. For example, the shampoo almost ran out on my first day there. And, I was not sure if it was just me, but if VE can provide some indoor slippers, I felt my time there would be even more comfy.

The check in process was seamless and swift. The room was spacious and included with toiletries. There is also an ironing facility that I appreciated as a business traveller. The English tv channels are adequate and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is connected to Nexus Mall and The Sphere which gave me access to restaurants, bars and to do a bit of shopping. There's a 7-11 store in the hotel which was great in case I need to stock up on drinks. The hotel provides drinking bottled water too. The breakfast has a variety of both local and continental dishes.

There were absolutely nothing I can complain about.

Apartment had all we needed.. Very clean.. The most comfortable bed we've EVER slept in! Quieter location, which we preferred than actual city centre.. Taxis very cheap to get there and back on your app tho, as just hailing one will rip you off!! Plenty of eateries and supermarket next door in sphere centre, which looks reasonably new..

Shower was a constant challenge with regulating the temp!! Bar not open anymore.. Due to Staffing apparently.. Tried the buffet breakfast once, only decent thing for us, was freshly cooked Omelette.. Not like previous people had posted i.e bacon, hash browns.. They don't replace items either, when its gone its gone.. Saw someone had yogurt, but nowhere to be seen.. Very poor.. Not worth the 55RMs. If you're into the Gym, that's well equipped..

A very good value for money business hotel. Enjoyed a comfortable stay for 8 days.

On one day their was a smoking smell coming from AC in the early morning. So they changed my room, but the AC was not working well in the new room (it was not cooling.) upon request they changed the room again, where AC was working well too (they confirmed it using temperature sensor) I think it would have been better if they can just prevent guests from smoking so the smell won't come via their centralized AC ducts.

Excellent location. Relatively new. Excellent conference rooms. Excellent ambiance.

Housekeeping is poor. Bath drains are always clogged. Often tea/coffee, was basin soaps are not replenished, the safe in one of our rooms was not functioning. Just the bed is being done properly with little or no effort to the rest of the room. Our room telephone did not work for the entire 9 day stay Housekeeping needs to be trained Despite asking for adjacent rooms 4 months in advance; we were not obliged by front desk who are not the most helpful during check in/out. Our family had booked a total of 8 rooms.

The stay was good. Clean room, cozy bed, private and walkable to nearest mall to find foods during day time. No need to worry about rain or hot as the walkway are all covered.

Overall good but I wouldn't recommend to order foods from the hotel restaurant. Maybe it was only happened to me but the meals i ordered claypot mee, it was too salty but due to hungry, i still eat but just pick n choose the items inside the salty soup. And my bad it caused my health where my blood pressure reading increased.

I had a free Genius upgrade to the deluxe suite. It was very clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The gym was excellent and the infinity pool was really lovely. The location was superb close to many dining options and within a few minutes drive to Midvalley Megamall, a major shopping centre. The staff were polite and courteous. I would love to stay here again if I am back in KL.

It would be good to have an option to tell housekeeping not to change towels daily in order to be more environmentally friendly.

While booking online , showed the packages price was included breakfast but being informed not included breakfast at check-in counter . surprised !

Value for money, has malls such as Spheres nearby with good cafes and restaurants. Room is big and bed is comfortable. Pantry with a proper dining table was a pleasant surprise.

No bedroom slippers, and hairdryer is fixed in the toilet and isn't very powerful, requires longer time to dry long hair. Bathroom faucet was wobbly and not installed tightly.
