The Millenials is very modern hostel and having an iphone to control certain aspects of the room, such as the bed postion and lighting, was a nice touch. The bed was very comfy and suprisingly spacious despite being compacted into a small area. I also loved how close it was to Shibuya station. It took me around a five minuet walk, and I am by no means a fast walker. If you are travelling with a suitcase or backpack, it will likely be even quicker!

You will be able to hear everything from your room, so I would highly recommend having ear plugs or headphones. I was quite fortunate that everyone on my floor was respectful and nobody was excessively noisey, however, you will still be able to hear things such as beds moving, people packing/unpacking their belongings, the door screens moving whenever somebody goes to the bathroom, ect.

Location: Conveniently located in Shibuya, along a relatively quieter street. Happy Hour: Enjoyed the happy hour that the hostel provides. Bed: Bed is comfortable and reclinable. You are provided with a bag for storing towel and amenities. Overall, your "room" is quite spacious considering the capsule hostel concept. Ambiance: Modern design, the lobby is good for working. People staying there respect the privacy so you'd never feel like it's a capsule style accommodation.

Water: While tap water in Japan is portable, the only water dispenser I've seen is on the co-working level so everything I need water, I had to go down. Could be better if there is water dispenser on each floor

big comfy bed and privacy and airy “capsule” (think high ceiling). nice people. most amazing shower! I also like the spacious open kitchen in the common room. nice people too.

Personally, I wished that we could open the windows and blinds in the corridors of the dormitory, then I can feel the air is fresh and I like natural light. though I sort of understand the design of the building does not entirely help. The lift was sometimes slow. I wish there was a freezer and not just a fridge - but this is a minor thing. I booked twice: first time was £80/night the. second time £50/night. very expensive for a hostel, even though it’s premium. The second price maybe is more understandable.

Amazing location, and so many other solo travellers to meet, the best place to stay if wanting to meet new friends by far! Has a happy hour every day at 5, FREE draft beer for an hour, which brings all the travellers down to meet eachother, its a genuinely awesome idea how they’ve done it. I have recommended this to everyone I’ve met since staying here!

The only thing I didn’t like about this place was the breakfast, very bad breakfast options. Sausages and scrambled eggs everyday which ended up being cold for me and was a big struggle to eat them if your used to western style breakfast options. But if you just don’t get the breakfast option it won’t be a problem at all and instead have many restaurants near by.

The rooms were of a good size, including storage space, a safe for important belongings and a shelf for other items. the bed comes with a built in charger and wall plugs which is very convenient too. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the iconic crossing, but also has close access to public transport, convenience stores and other notable landmarks.

The only negative I could think of is that the beds aren't overly long, but I wouldn't consider this a strike against the hotel, but something to be aware of.

Firstly, the staff deserves a lot of credit for their genuine kindness and determination to help customers. It really gave me an exceptionally good experience. What i liked most about this stay was how neat and clean it was. The bed was very fancy and comfortable to sleep in. It was mostly quiet on evenings and nightime, so my sleep barely got interrupted. I met a lot of friends in just 3 days. It was very easy to talk to most people as there mostly were solo travellers occupying the hostel. The kitchen area is the place to go if you want to socialize for free beers around evening. Its a great way to meet new people. But you also have the option to retire to the bed if you prefer privacy and quiet.

Some minor criticism but hardly applicable. There was no room to hang up clothes and i was awakened by my neighboor having a threesome at 7 am. (A little awkward haha) Last one is not the hostel's fault though. But yea i guess you can be lucky or unlucky with your neighbours. All in all it was really great

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was my first time at a pod hotel and I wasn't sure what to expect. For the most part, it exceeded expectations! It's very clean, the staff is friendly, the facilities are all really nice, and the other guests staying there all seemed friendly. It was a really nice vibe there! I was only a little surprised by a few things, like there are no locks on the pods, which made me feel nervous. There is a small lockbox but you can't even fit a laptop in there. Also I had a large suitcase that didn't fit under the bed and I did not realize this was a problem until I was going to sleep and realized I couldn't put the bed flat with my suitcase there. So I had to go downstairs in my pajamas before bed to ask them to store it. Thankfully I just made it before the front desk closed for the night! I think maybe if I read clearer, I would have been aware of these things. But I was surprised. So just a warning to make sure you are comfortable and prepared for all of that. If you are - then it is an excellent experience to stay here!

I stay for 5 days and 6 nights and I must say, My favourite place by far! From the moment I check in, service was A1, the employees are very informative, helpful and kind. I loved the ambiance and how clean and organise the hostel/hotel was. I admire the efficiency and storage of the bedroom and the cute welcome bag with all your toiletries. I felt and was very safe in the mix floor/room and even chatting with a few other guests. I love how everyone respected the noise and space their were in and was self aware of themselves. Bonus: it’s legit 5 mins walk away from the Shibuya crossing and all connect train lines (Gina/JR) that was great! I loved their breakfast options and my favourite part of the stay was the comfortable bed and great shower space. I will be booking again next year for Kyoto! Thank you so much xoxo

The staff is very friendly to reccomend food choices around the area and easy to communicate with in english! As well as advise you on your trip! Even though it is small you can manage around fitting your pesonal things and enjoy a spacious bed, however bulky luggage might not fit under the bed, so you might have to not fully extend your bed to still keep it in your area. There are areas for work and lounge as well to have private conversations on the phone in a booth. Cleanliness is top!

Some american tourists do not respect quiet area where the beds are and talk during late hours. At night the air gets quite stuffy, I guess it depends how many people are on the floor, but they ventilate the floor later during the day, although I wish it would be done at night as well.

I loved how friendly the staff was and the social areas they had to relax, do work, or socialize if you pleased. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers felt amazing. I was surprised at how nice the water pressure was. The beds were comfortable and cozy. I always felt safe as a solo traveler and the room was always very quiet.

The safe gave me a little trouble. My things got locked inside even after I had successfully used it multiple times before which was a little inconvenient especially when I was about to climb into bed. Other than that very small hiccup, I can’t say there was anything I disliked.
